It's said he's unlikely to come back to the Rockets next year. Would he be a good fit?
I think he would, as he's only had one losing season in his career (05-06 rockets) and has had some success in the playoffs, especially with the knicks.
Opinions?

I'd prefer him over any other guy we've interviewed yet. Is he good at teaching? that's what we need a teacher.

Jeff is a good coach. But if he were to be hired, we could forget about running and gunning. every team that hes coached has had a grind it out style... not that its a bad thing.

i think he would be a great choice! his track record speaks for itself. its better than any one elses by far and the only one who has had a similar coaching career of the ppl we've interviewed is silas. i'd take van gundy any day

I think Felton may struggle in the grind out style. Okafor, on the other hand, would probably thrive like Patrick Ewing. Crash would probably be our version of Tracy Mcgrady, too.

I don't think that felton would suffer from a grind out style at all. He would be able to adapt, he's a very smart player.

i don't think felton would struggle too much. the main reason he shoots such a poor percentage is because when he drives the lane among people a foot taller than him, he is rarely able to finish. his outside jumper could use some work too, but he just struggled to finish among the "trees." maybe if he drove and drew the defense and then dished, he would be more effective

I would take either one of the Van Gundy's over anyone we've interviewed so far.

Wallace has hit it on the head again. I think either of the Van Gundy's is a better choice than anybody we have interviewed so far.
Why doesn't anybody want Silas though? He's better than what we have and hasn't had a team with a group of players that try to play together as far as I know. This may be the job that turns him into a great coach instead of a sub par one.

I wouldn't mind having Silas. He would be my 3rd choice after the Van Gundy's.

Sure, I'd take Silas, but after JVG and before SVG.

According to Peter Vecsey...it appears the Bobcats are ready to sign Sam Vincent.....

Nothing against Sam, but I really wish they'd get on the phone to Iavaroni before making the decision.
