Has officially opted ot out today, according to this article (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2883178)
According to the article he is looking for something in the neighborhood of 15 million a year ( mice neighborhood, Right? ). How do you feel about the Bobcats spending that kind of money to acquire Rashard's services?
Would he fit in to what we are trying to build here? After looking at a few Sonics boards, they aren't exactly sad to see him go.
Hes definitely a player though, have a look for yourself.

If he could play the 2 spot. I think he could...because he's athletic, has a good shooting touch, and is often out there anyways. His ball handling is not bad either. It would obviously be a work in progress. A 6'10" shooting guard is definitely unconventional, but hey, we can just buck the trend :P
In all honesty, I see us not spending the 15 million a year on him. We'll spend it on the east's version of Shawn Marion, Mr. Crash, and continue building through the draft.
I hope we can trade or sign veteran help, however. I would really like us signing Jamison, putting Oak at the 5, and trading our 8 if Brewer is not available, for something...unsure what. Unfortunately, I am 99% certain that will not happen.

Nah, I wouldn't want him. From what I hear he's a cancer and I don't want that on my team. I just wanna get Crash re-signed.
I like the idea of getting Jamison though, and if we get Brewer it'll be awesome
Felton
Brewer
Wallace
Jamison
Okafor
I like it.

I agree with Wallace and hope we dont go after Lewis all that money and no defence. and a attitude to go with it. Na i would pass. Jamison is the free agent to go after i think hes the best fit for our team , That starting five could be great. In addition we would have the strongest beanch in the NBA.Or at least one of the strongest beanchs.

i'm skeptical about lewis because while he scores a lot, he doesn't pay much attention on defense. when i play, i'm the same way tho hehe
