The title says it all. Here are the guys that really became "go to" guys the past two years, and before were nothing but a potentially good player.
2004: Okafor
2005/2006: Crash
This next year will be tough, as many of our young players will be starting to get that experience and are the years that define their careers. My pick? Raymond. He's been good, but this year I predict he's going to move up into the Deron Williams-Chris Paul talk on terms of production.

Ray or Adam... depending on how the draft shakes out and who we may bring in.

A safe bet if Ray with new coach (with PG history) and rumors that we will be running a Suns type offense will help him out tremendously.

i guessing ray will have his make-or-break year this season. PGs in the NBA are given 2-3 years to adjust in the game, as their position is their hardest to transitioned from college to pros.
either way, i'd say the next breakout bobcat will be...
THE FANS!
we're gonna get them wrong about their say against us! playoffs here we come! ehehe

i think it will be ray too. in his first 2 years at unc he struggled shooting and his junior year he was tremendous shooting over 42% from 3. hopefully we can get him to shoot about 44% overall and keep dishing the dimes. hopefully his 3rd year in the league will be like his 3rd at unc

My first thought was Ray because Vincent is a former PG, but after thinking about it, a lot of former PG coaches are brutal on their PGs (see Larry Brown) causing them to underperform.
I'll say Fabio is going to be the next breakout star. If he is able to put together an entire season like his last 6 weeks of the season, everyone in the league will take notice of him.

The one that starts and stays healthy! I'd love to say Sean, but I'll go with the consensus and pick Ray. He had better have a big year next year or he'll find himself playing in istanbul!

Agreed. He MUST get his FG% up.

I would go with Raymond also, Vincent has stated he wants to push the ball at every possible chance, and that's what Roy told Raymond to do at UNC so he'll feel right at home in this system. Although Okafor I think could be a beast in this system as well.

1. I can't agree more about raymond being better when he pushes the ball. I used to go to Granville towers in Chapel Hill and watch pick up games. Ray scored at will, that is not exaggerating. I mean he was just so comfortable out there it was beautiful. If he get's that comfy feeling here then he'll shine.
2. what kind of sytem is Sam thinking of running? Who's offense do you think we will look like?

Hey guys, what's wrong with playing in İstanbul? Of course not better than NBA but you'd better forget the words you've heard from Anthony Mason.
Not mentioning a name of city would have been the best, IMHO.
Back to topic, I expect Walter to continue strong and finally get noticed by everyone in the league.

Johnathan, I was reading some of Vincent's quotes from his initial press conference and he was saying he wants to push the ball every chance he can, yet he would play in the half court if necessary. I don't think we'll be a Phoenix type offense, but we'll be up-tempo more times than not which leans towards Dallas, big surprise there huh? lol

I got to go with Ray . With the new coach i think he will thrive. May better get his tail on the ball Bernie is pissed [ He said May has had a bad knee for two years and still has not lost just 12 pounds]He said all it would take for him to be a good NBA player is to have eonugh disipline to lose weight.
My thoughts May is about to play his self out of the NBA. He better get his act toghter and get in shape.
