This article from OregonLive.com (http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindblazersbeat/2007/06/greg_oden_is_a_freak_of_nature.html) is shows that Oden was amazing in the predraft workouts in Orlando, with his numbers blowing Durant's out of the water.
KD wasn't able to benchpress 185 even once. To put that into perspective Adam Morrison was able to bench 185 11 times in last years workouts, and we all saw the physical abuse that he took this season.
If you hear of any numbers for potential Charlotte Bobcat draftees, be sure to add them to this thread.

from oregonlive.com:
"We all know Oregon's Aaron Brooks is fast. Brooks finished the 3/4 court sprint in 3.2 seconds. Oden was 3.27 seconds. :o Durant, meanwhile, finished in 3.45 ???"
please, no more talk on how slow Mr. Oden is...

Damn, Oden is a hell of a lot faster than I thought he was. Durant weighs 215 and he can't even bench 185? That's a little sad.

Wow Oden is fast, even for a big guy. Could you imagine him being able to run with T.J. Ford? LOL.
While Durant may have stuggled on benching, those numbers don't lie. I only hope he doesn't turn into a Christian Laettner/Keith Van Horn where the college stats were amazing and the pros were....ok.

maybe kd is holding back. but if he really is that weak wow
The 3/4, sprint and agility tests mean nothing.
Sure, Oden was quicker in a one off, but have them both play a hardcore game of 5 on 5 for 40+ mins without rest and then run the test and see how Oden's number compare to Durants then.
Sure Oden might beat him down the court the very 1st time, but I'd bet everything I own that those results would be VERY different by the 10th time.

who cares though... after the tenth time... Greg oden is still a 7 foot center. while durant is a small forward at best.
the fact that he can beat him even one time should be startling.
and i agree that the sprint and maybe even bench press mean nothing....
but the agility test means a lot... and the fact that he got dead last in that category is startling. absolutely startling... i mean for god sakes man... HAWES beat him in it. it should raise all kinds of eyebrows, about his determination, his effort and his ability to be effective in the uber atheletic NBA.
all that said.. id still take him number 2.

Just for perspective...Joey Graham blew everyone away in these workouts in '05 and (I think) David Noel was best last year.
I was surprised that Durant didn't do better though.

Anyway, Durant will go no worse than 2. How can this fact change? These numbers mean nothing, I agree.

im definetly not saying those numbers mean anything. as evidenced by the players who have come out lately and had no NBA career despite doing very well in the camp.
HOWEVER- hes got some explaining to do. hes only 19 and being atheletic was one of his top positive traits.... now the fact that he scored dead last in measurable stats against all types of players including some supposed lumbering giants is not good in my opinion.
either he got lazy cause he thinks hes made it already
or hes just not as atheletic as we all thought
or hes injured
or hes not caring what his measurables are.
thats about the only options i can think of, and not one single option is good in my opinion... they all need to be answered before i go spending millions on a contract

 well, if the Sonics panic and don't pick him, hell, maybe he drops out of the 1st round all-together
There's always FIBA.
Seriously, as I mentioned in another thread, they need a skill test called "playing basketball" or "kicking your man's ass." I think Durant would hold his own. Who knows whats up with the combine. Durant is rail thin, and that's a serious concern, but he's proven himself enough, and need do no more; except keep up the carbs..

There is a difference between weight room strength and basketball strength this is not the combine this means nothing he wont fall.

I agree those numbers don't mean anything. I was shocked to see how far Reyshawn Terry moved up. He played and tested well but (and I'm a die hard heel fan) he's NOT nba material. I wouldn't take him with a 2nd round pick. David Noel on the other hand I'd take if I had a pick in the 25 or so range. He's gonna shock some people and I love guys that dive for loose balls play D all the time and can dunk like he's going off a spring!

Wasn't David Noel drafted last year?

He was taken in the 2nd round, I thought he was better than that. He didn't put up carrer numbers, but if you are looking for potential this kid is a speciman*. Body is perfect all heart and hustle that kid.
