With the Bobcats offseason in full swing, I believe the board needs to have more talk about other sports, because hey, we can't complain about Jordan hiring friends all summer, can we?

So to start, what sports do you guys follow, and who are your teams of choice?

Mine are:

Baseball: Toronto Blue Jays
Basketball (besides the bobcats): The Cavs
Football: Tennessee Titans
NCAA Basketball: UConn Huskies
NCAA Football: OSU Buckeyes
Hockey: Toronto Maple Leafs

To top it off, I like these teams and am from Columbus, OH.

basbeball:Braves
basketball:(besides Bobcats)hate the rest of the league.
Football:Carolina Panthers
NCAA Basketball: Tarheels
NCAA Football: Tarheels
Hockey: Carolina
NCAA Baseball Tarheels
The only reason I root for the Braves is because the are the closest team to a hometown team NC has. If we had brought in the Twins to Greensboro I'd be rooting for them. Dumbest move every made in this state was not building a place for them to play.

NBA: (next to bobcats) Pistons :)

honestly, i don't follow any sports teams other than those two and my college basketball team (UP maroons). i'm more into individual/dual (i.e. badminton) and extreme (skateboarding) sports than team sports... except basketball of course

NFL: Carolina Panthers

The Patriots and Red Sox.

I grew up in MA and I had to keep those alliances despite moving to NC.

I've taken a liking to the Bobcats and hope to get season tickets for this season depending on job stability (long story).

I don't really follow college sports (no one cares about college sports in NE because we have such loyal following for the professional ones). I'll pick Wake Forest as I'm a part-time grad student there. :)

Along, if you really wanna piss off your ARSENAL loving friend, then join me on the Dark Side and support Tottenham Hotspur.

Barcelona is a great team, But tottenham is the best soccer to watch... absolutely beautiful.

Don't listen to him Along. Tottenham is the best soccer to watch if you like a bunch of overrated hacks who dissapoint their fan base every year (This excludes Robbie Keane) by saying they will contend for the title but don't even come close. Sure the North London Derby is cool, but not nearly as exciting as Chelsea vs Arsenal. Be a Blues fan and forget that Barcelona junk. =) Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea!

Football: Dallas Cowboy fan by heart pulled for them since I old enough to watch football and not drive my dad crazy, also a Panther fan by location pulled for them since the team name was announced.

Basketball: I started out a Celtics fan, then it was Hornets/Celtics, now its the Bobcats 1st and Celtics 2nd.

Hockey: Carolina Hurricanes, need I say more?

Baseball: "NY Mets" is there any other team? Grew up around their AAA farm club "Tidewater Tides" now called "Norfolk Tides".
