I'm definetly going to be on the side that says they should stay 4 years. I think it brings out the best in a player, more mature and learns more about the game before going on to the next level. By being more mature he should be able t handle being a millionare a little better.

I'm going to have to say I'd like them to all stay until at least juniors. I don't think that plan would succeed, so I am happy with at least one year in college.

Well I'm happier with 1 year than I am no years in college I guess. I still think that they become better all round players the longer they stay.
A lot of people use the argument of injuries. I really don't know of many players that got hurt in college and it destroyed there nba stock.
I'm also a MUCH bigger college fan than I am a nba fan. I just think that the college games have more excitment to them, not as many highlights but once they get the millions alot of times they just play it safe, or don't seem to give it there all. This ofcoarse is not always the case, but in general i'd say the team play in college out does the play in the nba. in the nba it's 2 passes and a shot then hope for a stop on D, but really as long as you get to launch another shot they don't seem to care as much. Instead of college adopting rules from the NBA, I think it should be the other way around. A longer shot clock for instance. It would give teams more time to set up a play where as now they have a max of about 18 seconds to make a play work. And most of the teams can't even play D for that long.
The longer they stay in school the more teamwork they learn and their game get's better. IMO

this may seem odd but i would make it similar to the baseball draft.

all high school players are eligible for the draft (and the team draft's the players rights and keeps them for 1 year). if the player does not like where they are drafted they can go to school, but will have to stay until after their sophomore season.

essentially you can go after HS or after your soph season at the earliest.
