Notes:@ Vincent said veterans Raymond Felton, Adam Morrison, Alan Anderson and Ryan Hollins have all agreed to play on Charlotte's summer league team next month. "Especially Raymond, that was very important for me," Vincent said. "He's a guy that we want to have a little bit more leadership from on the team." ... Vincent said while he hasn't talked to leading scorer Gerald Wallace, who will likely opt out of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent, he wants him to return. "I think he brings a very strong element to this team," Vincent said.
Just thought I would post this for anyone that might be interested. Good to hear that Coach Vincent wants Felton to come in to play I have a feeling he would have came reguardless like last year when he didn't really need to come down.

Im glad to hear Felton is going to sumer camp. Im all so glad to hear Vincent wants him to take more of a leader ship role. That right thair will give Felton the incentive and confidence to take his game to the next level. We may be looking at all star numbers this year from him. It looks like its finaly becoming his team.
With the strenth training and regaining his confidence in the sumer league we might just see the Morrison , of his high school days.
Hollins and Anderson are going to try to be showcaseing thair skills to try and keep roster spots. Iwish good luck to the both of them.
So far we have worked out 20 players and as far as i can tell only one is a possable eight pick. Its just my opinion but i think a trade has all ready been worked out for draft day or we would of had more possable 8th picks work out for us befor now. Its looking we mostly working out mid 2nd round picks whitch is very odd unless somthing is in the works.
I all expect to see Wallace resign with us but i think he just wants to get best contract he can.
Vincent seems to be on his game so far and we might be in for a good year.To me i like Vincents assitents whitch i think is a big upgrade from last year. I all so like the way he picked each assitent for diferent positions.I like the way hes working players out , It all so seems like he wants to have a good relationship his players as well as keep up the hard work and hustle each player has. I like the talk of a runing offence and a lock down defence. So far Sam gets a A from me but its way to early to tell.
Like to hear you guys thought on Felton , Morrison , Hollins , Anderson, Vincent.and Wallace

Heh...dav you should probably edit that post before you start getting comments about liking Vincent's butt!
At long last it appears that Felton is getting the attention that should have been given 2 seasons ago. We've brought in a PG coach, and combining that with Vincent's past as a PG the stage is set for (hopefully) a breakout year by the little iron man.
Side note...Felton fixed the "chicken wing" problem between his freshman/sophomore year didn't he? Wonder if Ford was the guy working with him at that time?
Wish Vincent had talked to Crash. Maybe not a big deal but he is our best player...be nice if the new guy would let him know we want to keep him personally.
I'm just thrilled over this coaching staff! I realize it's early, but man what a difference from the bush league group we had last year! Imagine bringing in coaches to actually develop our players!
BTW, with Felton and Ammo as well as 2 draft picks we should rule this summer league.

haha yeah the summer league title is ours..
felton ammo anderson and hollins... played a ton of minutes last year some of it in starters role.
I love the fact that felton is doin the summer league thing again... thats what seperates felton from may... desire not just to win but to just play in general.
i get the feeling Felton would play a game with me and my buddies if we asked him...

Felton just seems to be a good guy. I like that he's gonna play in the summer and get a relationship with Adam(more) as well as the 2 draft picks (Potentially).
It's a good move for our floor general.

Maybe so, but probably not. I know when Roy was named coach (which occurred between fresh./soph. years), he brought Phil back into the fold after he was banished to the radio during the Dark Ages of Doherty, but it wasn't as an assistant. But obviously, if Roy wanted Phil to work with Raymond, I'm sure that would have happened.

i wish may could also be there on the summer league, i remember he and ammo played well together last time and it translated well into nba games where they played together.
their best summer league game (just the two of them actually):
*posting for a combined 63pts in a loss to NJ
http://www.nba.com/bobcats/recap_nets_060713.html

Speaking of last years games I wonder if they'll do the online webcast again this year.

That would be sweet! If anybody knows please post a link for it.
I do remember AMMO and May tearing it up last year, so I found the summer league stats:
http://www.nba.com/media/magic/06slstats_bobcats.pdf
In it, it shows that Adam only shot 39% from the field here as well, but also scored 40 pts. per 48 minutes. May averaged 18pts while morrison 24.
I see Hermann only playing one game, scoring 7 points. I also see Kevin Burlson shooting his career high of 32% :hysterical:
Two names I remember from last year were Brett Blizzard and Curtis Whithers. Blizzard just had a cool name, while Whithers was a stud(should he be on the team instead of AA?). He also shot 64% from the field.
