I'll chime in on #22 when I have some more time later on, but I've been reading workout comments on Bobcats.com and that helped me form this list along with other wire reports and online postings. But Vincent really like Thorton and Brewer when they were here, and while he liked some things about Noah, he was critical of his shot, saying that they wanted someone who could give them some sort of scoring ability outside of 5 feet. He also stated Jeff Green was definitely on their radar and didn't want to commit to seeing him until he declared officially.

The wishful thinking is that the Wolves gulp and pass on Brandon Wright, taking either Hawes or Noah **crossing fingers**.

Keetch, would you not take Yi?

I don't mind Brandan Wright if he's there and the others from my top list are gone, because he has a high ceiling, unlike Noah(IMO).

Wright is a home run or a bust. I hope he's like Rudy Gay or Charlie Villanueva and when he gets to the NBA he gets it together.

Bumpus: I don't think I'd take Yi unless I had a deal with Golden State going. He is the player I know least about (probably not unlike most NBA people) and so look for a more sure bet at 8.

Plus his exclusiveness to particular cities, while very understanderable, leaves me here in Charlotte sitting cold on him.

I don't see Wright as boom or bust at all. I think he'll do fine in the NBA. It will be a process though, not an instant sensation. Horford seems definitely more confident.

I don't think the Bobcats have even worked out Brandon Wright, so who knows; as a lot of folks are saying; there could be trades in the works....

I think Yi's bust factor is higher than B Wrights to be honest which is why I would take a chance on Wright before I would on Yi.

I'll admit to a "little" bias towards Wake Forest and Kansas, but naw man, I'm not even really an ACC fan much less UNC.

What I AM is a fan of the NBA and its local affiliate, the Bobcats.

Brandon Wright dropped in my list on his own merit, without any pushing. If I had my druthers I'd probably take a number of players before him....like Oden, Durant, Horford, Green, Brewer, Conley, and maybe Julian Wright, okay not Julian Wright. Brandon Wright can play ball well enough, even if he had to suffer a year in Chapel Hill.

Sorry bro but its not always quite that simple. Actually the more I think about the more boring that whole schtick gets.

I suppose my wishful thinking was really an avoidance of Noah/Hawes more than the pickup of Wright.

I'd say Wright is a safer pick, definitely....and I'm not a UNC fan(i'm a uconn fan); You can't say that having a guy that plays at that large of a school playing tougher competition (wake forest, duke, the ncaa tourney) isn't a safer pick than a guy that played against teams like the Bayi Rockets and the Jilin Northeast Tigers, who have zero NBA prospects.
