I read two romors this morning thet has us trading down. We trade with the 76ers and they get the 8th pick in the draft. In return we move back and take the 12th pick and the 21st pick. It says we take Nick Young at 12 and then see who falls to 21 and 22 . It don't sound to bad to me what do you guys think.

I'd rather keep the 8th. I really think Yi or Wright is going to fall that far, and I don't think either of them will get farther than that. So I'd stay put.

If Spencer Hawes was going to be available at 12 I would do it. I am very high on Hawes. I believe that he would do great next to EO50. At 21/22 I would draft a SG and PF. Maybe Belineli and Splitter or Fernandez and McRoberts. I would do that trade.
Also, if we keep the 8 pick, I hope that we don't draft Brandan Wright, Julian Wright, or Joakim Noah. I am a Carolina fan but the heels we have drafted have not worked out well for us. Felton is not the PG we thoght he was and May is still hurt.

Brewer seems to be the guy we want . IF hes gone the artical said Nick Young should be our pick . It said hes a better scorer than Brewer but not nearly as good of a defender. I dont know for sure but a 21 and a 22 might might alow us to trade back up to the early teens and get a Hawes or a Critinton or a Thorton. A Young and one of those guys would be great.

I'd be all over this deal Nick Young is going to be a stud I think and he's NBA ready as well. Getting him we would have no question marks at the shooting guard position. Then at 22 we could pick up Williams or Gasal.

We would have 12. 21 and 22...............
I was thinking Young Williams and Gasal

Young @ 12

Trade up to get Stuckey or Crittenton. If not, I say Gasol and Williams

If we have 12, 21, and 22.....you really have to decide where the value of the draft is. Most likely Law and Conley are gone, so you have Crittendon or Young. Young fills a need better, but Crittendon has so many good qualities.....Young would probably be best, but personally I take Crittendon because I think the shooting guard value at 21 and 22 is good. At 21 I take my boy Almond from Rice, and at 22 I take Sean Williams. Ammo gets a chance to prove himself, you can play Ray and Crittendon together, and we have a big man to help out downlow who is a top 10 talent. Not to mention Almond as another deadly shooter along with Carroll and Hermann.

do we really need 3 more rookies on this team.

if we do any trading... i would prefer it was for young veterans... namely Pau Gasol.

otherwise, stay with the 8th and 22.

Maybe by getting more picks we can get a better veteran....I'd still like Richardson, or even the cheaper option of Sefalosha is he became available.

Good post. You clearly know what you are talking about.

Brewer would be the dumbest move ever. Even dumber than Kwame Brown. The Bobcats need "SIZE." Primo is a lost cause, and Okafor and May are too injury prone. When Okafor is healthy, he's lonely in the paint. The Bobcats need a big man at #8, as long as that big man isn't Noah!

we could still pick up a big on the 22... and either way it's not going to be a big a problem if we pick a big on the 8th and a shooting guard on the 22, vice versa. but i'm leaning more on the SG on the 8th than a biggie, unless something falls onto our laps and we get a steal.

I don't see Spencer Hawes helping, and we certainly don't need another 6'8 guy that can't play guard. Brewer is the best fit, and Gasol, Williams, or a 2nd tier big that's a risk @ 22 is the better route with the talent that's in this draft, IMO.
