Here's to hoping that Brandan Wright drops down to 8th. We still won't have a center, but at least Okafor would have some help inside, and I think Wright could be really good with some more weight.

A part of me is hoping for this, but another part wants Monta Ellis and that 18th pick more.

If the Bobcats ended the night with Brandan Wright at #8 and Daequan Cook at #22 like nbadraft.net predicts, I'll be one happy camper, because they need an authentic shooting guard and someone else to fill the paint with Okafor.

If Marcus Williams was still on the board you would take Cook?

Cook has a lot more upside, so the answer is yes. Cook and Felton could be a killer backcourt in a few years.

they could be, or they couldn't. the fact is we NEED players who can step up now. someone who can contribute and help us get the Ws. for a team that's aiming for the playoffs, we can't gamble on waiting and still stay on the premise of having a breakout year this season by getting projects.

Cook and Wright. Those are my picks. People should have been saying that crap last year when the Bobcats picked Morrison, who people should have known wouldn't do jacksquat, like I said he wouldn't.

Cook and Wright are absolutely what the Bobcats need.

Felton
Cook
Morrison (I prefer Fabio)
Okafor
Wright (or Hawes)

They need someone in the paint with Okafor and someone in the backcourt with Felton. Anything they would get in the draft would be better than what they would get in a trade, so I go with Cook and Wright. They don't need to screw up like they did last year. Last year was the year to trade the pick, as sorry as that draft class was, LIKE I SAID before the draft last year.

This draft is better than last year's, even though it's not half as good as the Felton year.

wow this team isnt half as good as what we got now. and somehow has less potential. in Wright your drafting a guy who wont be starter material for two years maybe... and cook may never be a full time starter. and yet they are both starting in this lineup, we wouldnt even sniff the playoffs with that lineup.

id prefer.

felton
ellis
crash
may/williams/gasol
okafor/williams/brezec/gasol

keep a young core, that has a strong chance of playoffs.
draft williams at 18 gasol at 22. plenty of potential and bench depth. and some young veteran starters.

Good post Must , I tell ya i dont know what i want its been so many diferent ideas, trades ,Guessing where who falls to. In past drafts wou had a good idea with in a few players. Its draft day and i am in worse shape now than befor all the hype started. As to what i think the team needs. I just hope M.J and Bernie know what they want because if i was them i would be going crazy right now
After hireing a great coaching staff i will just defer to thair wishes so ill be happy with any thing they do as long as its not compleatly stupid.

So, you want a bottom feeding team? Cook wouldn't start immediately. He would by next season, and the following season, he and Felton would be one of the best backcourts in the Eastern Conference.

your wrong bro.

Felton
Richardson
Crash
May
Okafor

would absolutely kill that lineup you suggested... not to mention that lineup wouldnt be ready until the year 2014... then Okafor will be too old and crash would be gone, may will have eaten himself out of the league by then... i mean that just makes no sense to me.
