I decided to update the salary info topic, as soon as I learn the salaries of Carroll and Wallace, I'll add them to the list. If you'd like to correct some info or see some other Bobcats stuff(i.e. Bobcats records etc.) let me know. I'll try to make this topic as informative as I can. And at the end of the season, I'll replace the whole topic with updated one.

Nice work.

Not to be lazy, but do you have any interest in putting that in a chart that we could update?

how does this work?

By chart, what do you mean?

If you mean a chart for salaries, you can see here: http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/charlotte.htm

I just wanted to seperate them by positions, not by money they earn. And applying a chart is a technical subject that ziggy or Bumpus should have better knowledge.

Right. I use the HoopsHype charts all of the time.

There are chart buttons for use, but I'm not sure how they are used. Let's try this:

I think that there is a lot of potential with charts and graphs for salaries of the bobcats, especially with the details in the future years.

Let's see what we can hammer out, and come up with an updatable chart.

"lot of potential?!" Did you not see my chart? The future is now, baby!

There's a numeral 1 with like an inexplicable tab space and then BAM 2 3. Plus it skips a line and then Yahtzee.

That's a pretty good chart. I don't believe you'll be able to improve much upon my technique. But good luck trying.

Were you looking for that kind of chart? (look upside)

Sure, the HoopsHype chart is fine.

I just saw the chart buttons above and didn't know if we could do our own.

Nice work cropping the chart and adding the other content.

Semi related question: Has anyone on here every glanced through the CBA? After Henry posted the link to it on True Hoop (http://www.nbpa.com/downloads/CBA.pdf), I pulled it up one day. I have a newfound respect for GM's and agents after skimming it.

Hoopshype is the least reliable out there. Sham sports and Draft Express are much better IMO.

For example: Most reports say that Crash's deal is flat...9.5 per year. The other sites reflect that, Hoopshype does not. Also notice Hammer's salary...they only have this upcoming season. The other sites reflect his entire contract AND the fact that it's frontloaded.

Draft Express also gives a list of capholds.

Sham Sports not a lot of differance

This is the Draft Express version...

And this is the ShamSports listings.
Gerald's contract and Matt's contract are the only diffference in the salary listings I can find.

You guys don't see the darker blue section labeled "capholds" on the DX version...or the difference in total salaries? If you look at the hoopshype version one would think we have over 18 million in open capspace this year; under the other two versions (esp. DX) it's pretty apparent that isn't the case.

I see what you are talking about, in that case almost looks like we need to make a trade of some kind to free up more cap space if possible.
