POSEY UNDECIDED Agent Mark Bartelstein said Monday it's still too soon to tell where Heat free-agent forward James Posey would end up. Golden State, New Jersey, Charlotte, Dallas and Cleveland have interest in Posey, who still could be part of a sign-and-trade deal involving the Heat.

Wow. I don't see how Posey could get the minutes that he would want with all of the wing depth that we have though.

That was the first thought I had when I saw it unless we traded one of the wings we already have for him in a sign & trade. If that's the case, wouldn't it almost have to be Morrison that we waved good bye to?

It's certainly not going to be Richardson, Wallace, or Carroll.

he IS not needed in here. i'd be preferring to watch dudley's performance than of posey's.

the management's just probably looking at it, see what they could see, and not really on the list of things needed for the next season. IMHO

I believe we have remained interested in him until we agreed terms with G. Wallace. Agent should be saying that the teams who "showed" interested in a particular time. Or this is the fact that I want to believe!! We absolutely don't need him and I'm not nervous though. Jordan should have learnt how to direct a team.

I don't think Jordan would bring a lazy player to join the hard workers unless he came at a damn good price or a hefty need for him.

James Posey, the newest member of Atlanta, to go along with the other 12 6'8 forwards.

I'd pass I rather bring in a vet point at the moment to be honest.

i don't really see how he would fit in, and he would cost a lot more than the production he would give us

Bring in a veteran point guard or something, but Posey isn't needed...

We don't need that bum. No reason to bring him to our team full of hard workers.

That was probably is agent posturing more than any real push by us to get Posey. I like Posey's game a lot, but he's had little injuries over the years that have stopped him from being very effective.

No thanks, why aren't we looking for a back-up PG?

I don't see it happening. I like the fact that he has defense, but there's no space. Ain't happening.

I would like to think that if we added Posey it would only be to add depth for a trade. The fact that we have not looked at many pointguards might mean that we have one in our sights that we would like to trade for.
