Free agent guard Steve Francis is on his way to becoming a Houston Rocket again.
The Rockets have planned a news conference Friday to announce that Francis has agreed to a contract worth about $6 million, with a player option for the second year.
Francis, a three-time All-Star with the Rockets from 1999-2004, received a $31 million buyout from Portland last week after being traded to the Trail Blazers from the New York Knicks.
Chris Broussard covers the NBA for ESPN The Magazine.
Well he's back in Houston it seems he'll be starting over Alston, hopefully he can get to his old self again and him, T-Mac, and Yao can have a good season...Glad he went to the Western Conference and not Miami...
