Brandon Bass appears to have signed witht he Mavs, making Pops' future uncertain.

Now, I don't know much about him, but would he be of any use with us? His d-league stats are pretty good, but that's obviously against lesser talent.

I can't imagine him being an option at all. I only remember him from his days at George Washington, but even while he put up pretty good numbers in college, he was obviously an undersized big who is a "tweener" in its purest sense. We need a backup PG and a true "big," not a project who has no true position. I think 6'9" is a huge stretch (he was more 6'7"ish, from what I remember) though I'm impressed with the rebounds. He could be a decent backup somewhere, but Jared Dudley, Sean May, Walter are the guys he has to compete with to get playing time off the bench. Nice of you to be thinking of all angles though.

Sİnce he's a tweener, he is not an option for us. We're going quite silent nowadays. Our options are getting fewer at back up PG and a legit big man.

Tamb is right about going silent . Thats the way the organization has gone . We hear no runors or plans til they made . Ithink its the way M.J, and Bernie are doing things now . We going to get quility back ups . But you probely want know til its done. Trade or free agency.
I all so think the kid is a project . We all ready have two of those who are much bigger.
