I recently signed up for an NBA Sim League using Draft Day Sports - Pro Basketball (DDSPB) and of course grabbed the Bobcats. I don't know why I did this, as I have little time to mess with it, but whatever, I hope to use it for very light-hearted fun (i.e I'm gonna lose my ass).

As the first season hasn't begun yet, there has started a rather serious thread on the league forum regarding players on the trading block. The team rosters do not include the 2007 Rookie Draft or this spring/summers transactions. Of course, I had to give it a go...so for your (hopeful) entertainment:

"So...the Bobcats definitely have some quality to offer the league :

First lets talk about Primoz Brezac. This guy is 7-1, 252 pounds! I here that's really big, even in the NBA. Hey Greg Oden is 7-0, 257 so who couldn't use some of this? And according to his player sheet, his Status is "OK" (not to spoil my password protected roster uhoh), so that means he's yup ready for war.

I would gladly trade Primo for anyone else of equal status, i.e. "OK", although if anyone has a "GREAT" player then I'd throw in my Head Coach as well to make a deal work.

But that's not all!

Word around Charlotte is that Jake Voskuhl loves his Miller Time and has developed a man-crush on the Milwaukees. So the Bobs are just waiting for nearly any offer from the Brewers and they'd oblige Jakes passion. We think that much of him.

Othella Harrington

Whoa you say, is that stud in Charlotte?! Yessir, the quintessential PF is just sittin' here waiting to explode. With 82 game lockdown PF Sean May on this squad, the Bobs can afford to trade Othella. But only serious offers please! You want intangibles? We hear that Othella is hella funny dude in the locker room. With an Attitude of "Totally Happy" your team chemistry will be off the charts and with a Motivation that is the maximum of "Very High" you know he'll get the most out of his teammates. Really - serious offers only.

Adam Morrison

Frankly we don't like this guy, but we have a feeling the DDSPB's do as we traded him for Devin Harris with no problem during a solo Bobcats run. We're looking for those sucky defense and sucky shooting stats but don't seem to find them anywheres. In fact this dude has sick Outside Shooting, Scoring, Discipline, Intelligence (for you video gamers, think MANA), and Endurance, with decent Ball Handling, Def. Robounding and Defensive Ability! Freaking WOW! I don't know why, but I'd still give this guy up for Devin Harris. What about it?

The 8th Pick in the upcoming Rookie Draft

Is totally not wanted in Charlotte. Really the Warriors need to give us JRich right now just because....well because that's just the right thing to do. Its a great deal for the GSDub's. The number 8 will be a can't miss prospect. That's why we don't want it so bad."

Hope you enjoyed it!
