The Celtics would have made the most sense. They need a point guard desperately.

Saw on RealGM that he said during a radio interview that he wanted to go to the Celtics, talked to them but they instead went with House. Knight commented that he didn't understand why as they need a passer vs. a shooter. Those that heard his interview said that the Clipper's announcement would be made later today.
The articles about Knight being an issue in the locker room has come out of Boston.
Let's hope for a nice fat salary. If he makes 3 million per or more we get the 1.5 million off our salary cap.

he will love his stay there, he'd be having the ball more since he won't pass to anyone "worthy" as defined by his brain. man, i still feel sorry for E. Brand and his injury...

It's been confirmed by everybody. BK, I love ya for what you did to lay the foundation of the franchise, but it's looking like you really are a raging prima donna if the Celtics passed on you for.......Eddie House?!?!?!?!? I'm not sure what use he has for the Clips, but work is work, I suppose.

Point Guard Brevin Knight will reportedly sign a two-year deal with the L.A. Clippers.
Knight, 31 years old, has to pass a physical before signing the contract, which could be a problem since he seems to always be injured. He also has a reputation as not being a good locker room guy, but with the Clippers desperate for a point guard, the move makes sense. It's unknown whether he or Sam Cassell will start, but the team will likely just play whichever one his healthy on a day-to-day basis. Both Knight and Cassell should have some fantasy value, but may cause owners problems with their injury history.

See you later Brev...

I'm happy for Brevin. He's near the end of his career but for him to be playing somewhere is great. Congrats to him.

Status Alert: The Clippers and Knight agreed to terms on a two-year, $4 million contract, the Los Angeles Times reports. (Aug 4)
That's on his ESPN Player page...
2 million a year...guess we don't get that 1.5 million dollars off sadly, a bargain if he can stay healthy...

We get back 1 million (half of his new salary up to the full amount) of the 1.5...so the final cost to us capwise is only 500k.
