Scot Pollard signs with the Celtics. One more free-agent big man not coming to Charlotte.

After Garnett trade, Boston is pulling the players like a compass. That's unfortunately the awful truth.

It's true, but none of them have been so impressive that we're really losing out. Basically, they're getting a bunch of mediocre guys who fill their needs adequately. I would have loved to have had Pollard on this squad, but I'm not crying in my cereal that we didn't get him.

aye tis too bad. Big MOkeski and Pollard, both Jayhawk superduperstars; coulda really spread wonderfullness throughout Charlotte.

:D If that compass is attracting players like Eddie House, Jackie Manuel and Scot Pollard, please let the Celtics keep it!
Pollard woulda been a pretty good fit here, but lordy, he was riding pine like nobody's business for a pathetic Pacers squad.
Like Mike Wilbon said today on PTI...
Tony: "Pollard to Celtics, good trade Wilbon?"
Wilbon: "To cheer up the locker room yes, Pollard is a very funny guy."
I don't think we should be crying over not signing Scott freaking Pollard.
