Hard work paid off for Carroll. That's what makes him one of the favourite players of Bobcats fans.
The part that I liked most and gave me hope is:
Now armed with financial security for the first time in his professional career, Carroll, who will turn 27 on Aug. 28, says he won't allow complacency to set in.
"For me, I appreciate the situation a lot more than players who came in the league as first-round picks," Carroll said. "I have seen the other side of it, the minor leagues, and know what I had to go through to get here. So I want to work even harder and show I deserve it."
You're definitely my man.
