sounds like a suicide. I am so sad to see his story end like this. He was a troubled man. :(

It looks to me a suicide, too. He was definitely one of the biggest draft busts in NBA history, especially considering he was traded for Richard Jefferson and Jason Collins immediately after the draft. He had a huge potential, but he never realized it. His death reminded me the death of Len Bias, who was also an unrealized potential. Some people should have helped him along the way. He was still young, only 25, he could be an NBA player again. But more importantly he might have a good and peaceful life. He just couldn't find a way and turned to alcohol.
Rest in peace Eddie.

This is sad, he was a troubled man, and made a lot of mistakes, but no one should die like this, even if your trying to kill yourself....The guy use to be very talented, and then got into a lot of trouble....
R.I.P. Dude...
EDIT:
"The cause of death and manner of death, which also includes toxicology results, is pending," said Beverly Begay, chief investigator for the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.
Umm how do you expect he died?

I remember reading about this a few days ago the sad thing is that it wasn't reported until a few days after he had already died because they couldn't identify if it was him or not. He had a ton of potential but he could never get his off the court issues together.
