I agree...that is ridiculous! We added Richardson and didn't even move up on the list? Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait until the season starts to prove them wrong!

Another questionable move by Michael Jordan leaves this team in the bottom couple teams. Will JRich really make a big difference for the 'cats?
Obvious opinions by a guy who graduated from the Steven A. Smith School of Great Basketball Minds.
What idiot could possibly state that keeping a guy who EVERYONE says is 3 years away from any real contribution would be better than getting a 20+ ppg/5 rebound player that fits our most glaring need would make us WORSE?
I know...someone who writes for Sportprojections.com!!!!
Notice there's no "comment" link. Probably a very smart move on their part.

Mistakes:
1. Cleveland #3. I don't care if they made the finals, they won't be the 3rd most feared team, and certainly aren't the 3rd most powerful team, unless if you're only including the eastern conference.
2. The Celtics # 5. Rajon Rondo as your point? Maybe top 10, but certainly not better than the Pistons or the Bulls.
3. Houston is a midlevel team with injury problems galore and will probably be a fluke team. Steve Francis in the mix? Pleeease.
4. The Raptors are going to be a better team in power rankings than the Cavs. Book me for it.
5. Philadelphia is not going to be better than us or Milwaukee.
6. List goes on, but the most important is: 3rd worst team in the league! WTF EVER!
Fortunately for us all the team websites and large magazine vendors have noted that we're much improved and a playoff contender.

That's funny!
Are we sure this site isn't ment to be funny?
Cause if not somebody missed there calling.
Bumpus, I agree with everything you typed. Rep it up.
Specter, I was so pissed when we traded brandon for j-rich you wouldn't belive it. I busted a 30 inch tv with a bottle of miller. But, I thought he was a SF, not a SG. Now that I know J-rich is a SG I'll agree with the trade. As you said it fit our most glaring need. Still Wright can be an impact in less time than 3 years. If he isn't then he'll be coming here to play cause he won't get an extension. I'd say the begining of his 2nd year he'll be a good contributor. The boy can run like a deer, he just needs to eat like 9 meals a day instead of 3, lol.

A bunch of us has been into JRich for since the season before his injury (BigSlam for one), and it dawned on a lot us as well as GSW fans over a month before the draft that a JRich for our pick made just way too much sense. Without that cap relief I doubt GSW would have traded him for the 3rd pick in this draft...probably NO pick in 2005.
We got a steal no matter who the pick was short of Durant/Oden.
But like I said...we had him scouted for a while now, so I can understand being upset when it looked like we were duplicating our strongest position (thereby making one think Crash is history).
I was fine with Wright...and it looked like we were getting Kurt Thomas to come in and help ease him in. That doesn't hold a candle to JRich tho IMO.

Wow...great rankings there SportsProjections.com. I'd hate to be the guy who does the author of that article's taxes. What a joke.
At this point, let them leave us under the radar. It'll make proving everybody wrong that much more enjoyable this season. Go Bobcats!

I've never even heard of that website before, that should tell you enough right there.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Its going to be sweet to watch knuckleheads like the one that wrote that article eat their words this upcoming season.

And Suns fans. What if Nash gets injured and they only go .500? I like Nash as he is a great player and seems like a good guy, I just think it would be bad Karma from Marion Trade rumors, Amare and overall Suns fans in general.
I would love for us to have a better record then them; 95% unlikely but give it a year or two and possibly.

Yeah... the site's just somebody running their mouth with a website.
Other teams upgraded, making it tough to figure out where we're at overall. We just have to show people that we can compete. Until then, we're always going to be lumped into the bottom five.

Yeah, I can believe it - that someone would write it, but I don't actually believe it. Makes sense for him though - if you're going to upset a fan base and possibly lose readers, might as well make it one of the smaller ones.

Dude, you are exactly right. What is it with those Suns fans? Why do they not realize that they are choke artists?
In addition, when you ask Suns fans (Generally speaking, I apologize for the stereotype) why they are sure their team will win the trophy next year, the unanimous response is "Well we've got Steve Nash". Steve Nash = 0 Championships. I got news for you Suns fans, Charles Barkley was a great player too, look how many championships he won.
