This article from Basketbawful (http://basketbawful.blogspot.com/2007/09/word-of-day-man.html)is absolutely hysterical, but it got me thinking, Who IS The Man for the Bobcats? Crash, J-Rich, Ray, Emeka?

In your opinion, who is THE MAN?

Crash hands down. Mek & JRich could conceivably challenge for the title...but right now it's undisputable.

Ok, i'm going to pimp my own post - I vote for Emeka on this and you can read why in my post http://www.bobcatsplanet.com/joomla/content/view/203/1/.

Hey, good post! I need to check out the stuff on the main page more.

IMO this goes back to what a lot of us have been saying for a long time: Crash is our BEST player but Mek is our MOST VALUABLE. It's hard to win without either of them as Mek brings the interior D and Crash creates havoc with his drives and his scoring.

I think it's hard not to lose without Mek but it's hard to win without Crash, mainly because he can put the points on the board.

Make sense?

Rep it up, spectre. Well said - Emeka keeps the games close, but he is not the type of player who can score the points needed at the end of a game to close out the win (in part due to poor free throw shooting).

Wow thats a hard question . Oak is the fourth best center in the east and Felton is the fifth best point in the east. Rich is at least a top four in the east and Wallace is a top three in the east in my mind. wow hard to pick . Oak for his great defence, Rich for great scoring,I gess i would go with Wallace for great defence and great scoring . Hard choice.

I gotta go with Blockafor on this one he's our main key to having success mainly because of his defense. Remember those stretch of games we had last year when he went down with an injury we looked horrible and our beast presence in the paint was gone without him .

So I'd say it's Emeka with Wallace being a very close second.

I think its both guys Wallace and Oka4 because either of them go out of the game and look what happens, they are the team spirt. :g:

Crash is the heart and soul of the team and sets the tempo.

Too tuff to choose. In years past I'll agree with you guys and say it's one of those two guys. This year I hope it turns into Raymond being the man.

If Felton becomes the man on our team . We win the east hands down. Not that he can't . But we would be that good.

Yep, in total agreement with you on that one. To me he's the missing link. We really need him to have a stellar year. Not just a good game here or there. Day in day out he needs to be a rock and lead us to the playoffs.

So got a question for you guys. Say in theory we added J-kidd. Just how far would we make it in the playoffs?

My guess, 2nd round with a possible sqeak farther.
