2008 Breakout players

This thread will entail who thinks will come out of nowhere and tear it up. Past winners could be Kevin Martin, Boris Diaw, Gilbert Arenas and many others.


This year I'll predict Tyrus Thomas. My reasoning? Summer league. He just plain and simple was a BEAST. He was the man amongst boys and really developed his offensive game. He'll also get plenty of minutes due to the Bulls suspect front court depth.

I think this might be a breakout year for Lamarcus Aldridge. He has the size and talent, plus his health issues are behind and he has the paint to himself since Oden will be out all season. I think that this year he is going to put up some nice numbers.

I'm with you bumpus: Ty-rise was a monster in the summer league action that i saw (kudos to the nba for providing that free over the internet, even if it looked like the orlando summer league was held in a rec center).

I think Felton and Herrmann can both have break out seasons this year, would love to see May have one. I really believe that if all 3 have breakout seasons this year we could go even further up the scale than the 4th seed as Coach V said we can achieve. :g:
