Let me tell you the story.
Alright, my Aunt went up to Michigan a couple of days ago with one of her friends that used to play basketball for Michigan St. He's name is Scott. I can't remember his last name right now, but he played Pro in the European League. Well, they were up there for a reunion thing for all basketball players that went Pro. Well, we all know who went to Michigan St that went pro....JASON RICHARDSON. Her lucky ass got to meet him and got some pictures with him which she's gonna send some of them to us.
Well, they we're talking to him and they asked him how he likes Charlotte so far. Well he said that it's nice but he doesn't really know his way around and he doesn't know all the good places to eat and everything.
Well, Scott and my Aunt are always in Charlotte and they offered to show him and around and he said that that would be awesome. He gave them his cell number and said to call him in 2 weeks so they can go out to dinner and show him around.

Well, the whole time my Aunt was over here telling me this I was thinking "Damn, this is complete bullshit. She doesn't deserve to meet him." Then she says "Shayne, I asked him if you could come with us and he said that would be fine."

Right then I completely freaked out and was just thinking "Holy hell, I get to go to dinner with Jason Richardson!"

Alright, now I know you guys might be thinking that I'm lying about this, but I've already seen the picture of her and Tom Izzo, and this is no lie.
Now if something happens and I don't get to go with them I'm gonna be pissed as hell, but this is just insane.

As far as I'm concerned you ARE the luckiest person on the board. If JRich invites Crash to come along too I'd consider you the luckiest guy in the state.

Color me jealous as hell!!!

Congrats man!

Oh, please believe I will keep all of you informed on this. One of the first things I'm gonna say to him is "JRich, I'll play you one on one and if I win I get one of your paychecks." Then I'll continue to ask him how far he thinks the we can go in the playoffs and I'll also tell him that Bobcatsplanet is where the best and most intelligence fans are.

Thanks for the congrats.

What a cool thing for your Aunt to do by asking if you could come with. That's good stuff man.

Have a good time, and definitely take some pics so we can see!

I got Dr J's autograph back when I was a kid at a ABA Virginia Squires game in Norfolk, Va. That was cool.
I was once getting on a 707 flight at Norfolk Regional Airport heading to Dallas back in the 80's and we were in line at the entrance gate and Andy Griffith came by me and shook my hand when I said "Andy Griffith". That was cool.
My brothers band opened up for ZZ Topp back in the late 70's and I was back stage with them all and met the entire ZZ Topp band. Billy Gibbins, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. That was cool.
These are my fondest memories with celebs. 8)
