You could be right. Someone said in a earlier post that they remind them of the Cowboys back in the early 90's and I think he was right. :g:

they are definitely good enough to do it. i just don't think it will happen, one game brady will throw multiple ints and the defense will give up a few big plays and they'll lose a nailbiter. 15-1 is definitely likely

I tend to agree with the 15-1 scenario over the 16-0 scenario.
That being said though, I do think that the Patriots are sick this year. They are incredible on both sides of the ball.

After looking at their schedule, the only team that poses a serious threat are the Colts on 11/14.
This may be the year that the '72 Dolphins get some company in the perfect season club.

I could see the Pats dominate, but here are a few that I see as a problem:
Colts: Peyton is no longer afraid of the Pats.
Baltimore: Very physical team that could wear the team down.
Pittsburgh: playing in NE, one of the few teams that can continuously run it down their throats.
I think the big problem with the Pats will be the running game in the winter. Now that they don't have Dillon, I'm not sold on Maroney and so on so forth.

The reason I think the Pats arent worried about the Colts this year...
1) Because the Pats are alot better than last year.
2) I feel the Colts although still a very good team arent as good as last year.
Will be a good game.....
Balts defence cant stop the Pats as long as they are healthy, and their Offence isnt no where near what the Pats defence is. No contest here.....
I see Pittsburg as the only real threat to the Pats.....
Its still early in the season yet and alot of things can happen. The Panthers could actually get consistant and do good this year..... :g:

As much as I hate the Patriots the way they've played in their first 2 games I could see it happening, but I don't think it will.

I said in a post earlier that I thought it would happen. If they don't do it, the Steelers or Colts will be the one's to beat them. I can see them going better than that. All the way to the Super Bowl without a loss!

i just remembered, the broncos have owned the pats over the past 2 seasons. jake plummer ended a dynasty haha. but i think denver could somehow beat them again

16-0 is looking less and less crazy isnt it?

I dont see anyone that could be a threat, maybe the Cowboys could beat them (since they know what to expect due to earlier season loss to them) if they meet in the SB. The Cowboys are the strongest team in the NFC with GreenBay close behind.

I could have swore the Dolphins would have beaten them. :-\

I'm officially on the bandwagon. Barring a Tom Brady injury, this team is just unstoppable.

They are the most dominant team that I've seen since the 85 Bears... Maybe moreso.
That Bear team was scary on the defensive side of the ball.

Whether they go 16-0 or not, they'll never be truly perfect, they cheated, and admitted to cheating early on in the season...and that will always hold them back from being truly perfect. I think they go 16-0, but they won't win the Super Bowl...they showed us in baltimore and in Philly that it's possible to beat them, Philly and Balitmore just didn't finish them off...Giants have the best chance remaining, but I don't see it happening, I just don't see them beating the Colts again in the playoffs...

I hate the Patriots. That's right, I'm throwing haternades at the whole city of Boston and their respective sporting teams.
Why? Only b/c they keep winning of course....
Ok ok, the real reason? My father has Tom Brady and Randy Moss on his fantasy team, and it's ruining the league.
On a serious note: Anybody think the Jets have a chance if there is a blizzard next week? I think they are the last team with a little bit of a shot. As bad as they are, they beat Blitzburg, and they play the Patriots well in shoddy weather.

The only team that has a chance to beat them would have to do it in the super bowl. Thats the Cowboys, sure the Pats beat the Boys earlier this season and Dallas knows why they lost that game and could adjust what they do and beat them that way, but as far as anyone else beating them? I dont see it. Im just gald the Panthers didnt have to play them this year, that would have been embarrassing, they do have to play the Boys and that could turn out embarrassing.... :g:

Miami ALWAYS finds a way to beat New England at least once a year. This should be no different.

The betting line is currently Patriots by 24..... and a half against the Jets.
I'm predicting that the Pats hang 45+ first half points on the Jets.

I'm counting on that Noreaster to take away the Patriots passing game this Sunday.

its looking like they will go 16-0, however, i honestly hope they lose in the playoffs to the colts or steelers. espn has been sucking the pats dick all season and i'm sick of it, nothing would please me more than to see them go 16-0 in the regular season and not win the super bowl.
i only hate the pats because they beat the panthers in the super bowl and because their whole team is full of arrogant cocky assholes like brady and belichick

I hate Belichick, Brady, and especially HARRISON! He's a cocky bitch and all he does is run his damn mouth. It would be hilarious to see the Patriots go 16-0 and then lose in the 2nd round(since they get a 1st round bye.) I wonder what we'll hear from ESPN WHEN the Patriots lose in the playoffs.

We couldn't read the signals well enough
How's Brady cocky? That's a new one.
Haters love to hate. It happens whenever any teams stays on top for too long. They love you on the way up and hate you once you stay there.

The cocky part was intended for Harrison.

He probably just finished a cycle...and that's fine by me. We need to run the table. Team of Destiny!
I just love getting people pissed off about this stuff. It's awesome. Is this what it was like to be a Yankee fan back in the day?

LOL, Now on top of my perfect season prediction going down the toilet, I can no longer pick on Eli Manning as just being Peyton Manning's short bus riding younger brother :)

All I can say is, get ready for the slew of Peyton-Eli commercials. Starting with Visa, directtv, and the million other commercials Peyton does.
