Between Hollins and Davidson , Whos the stronger player.
Who goes to the D league , Who gets the most playing time.
Will either make the rotation.

I like this question. Good job thinking up all of these topics in a dry spell. :D I'd rep u if I could.
I think Davidsons probably stronger and will get the most PT. Hollins goes to the D league.
If Primo isn't performing and Davidson shows a little bit of spunk on the boards he might crack the rotation.

Press the up arrow underneath the person's name to rep him up.
I agree with Davidson being stronger and probably more NBA ready for backup duties. I think Hollins and Davidson will probably split time down there, however.

Once you hit the 50 post mark, You'll be able to give rep all day long
Back to your question,
Jemario Davidson looked pretty good in summer league, so unless Hollins has significantly improved over the summer (and I'm pulling for him) then I think JD gets the majority of the minutes.

I agree with you guys about Hollins to the D league because he needs experience and improvement. :g:

I only got to see one SL game but JD looked very good in it. So I'd say JD is more NBA ready and Hollins will go to the D-League.

I honestly don't see Davidson going to the D-League, Hollins on the other hand, I could see, and I believe it will happen....

i'm seeing the both of them going to the D-league, just not on the same period of time. and i think as the season progresses, the more we'll see the guy who'll be playing the most this season. tough choice as of now IMO.

I think that JD could break into the starting lineup, especially if primo stinks it up. I don't think that Sammy V. has loyalty to certain players, the best players will play, and the bums will sit the bench

Interesting post, I agree with you about coach V starting the best players . But i have never thought of Davidson starting. It just seems to me like its to many other line ups to even consider starting Davidson. Guess im not as big on him as most of you guys. I see him as much of a canadate for the NDBL as Hollins. I can see Dudley starting this year but not a Hollins or a Dudley.

I think davidson handled himself in SL quite well whereas hollins still needs to work on avoiding foul trouble. we'll see tho..if we could have felton with richardson, wallace, herrmann, and hollins...that would be a nice dunkfest :D

Welcome to BobcatsPlanet AznJustice, If they put that lineup on the court, there would be a lot of fun indeed :afro:

It may be fun on offense, but they would struggle on the boards, as Hollins did not do much on the glass last year. I personally hope that Primoz bounces back a bit and Hollins and Davidson are both given the year to learn the game (and hit the weights).

i dont think either of them will be sent to the D-league this year, but if i had to choose it would be davidson. The SL is a completely different ballgame than the NBA reg season.
just cause Davidson looked ok doesnt mean it will translate to playing against starting competition.
As far as bigs go (right now this is all pending other moves this offseason) but right now we have May, Okafor, Primoz and thats it (if harrington retires) so those two guys will be kept on because we got the roster space(again if harrington retires) and we need bigs. and they will learn even more from PT in the league rather than PT in the D-league

That's a good point about SL time.
However, I really don't think there is anything Hollins can do better than Davidson except look taller. Davidson can probably contribute as much as Hollins now and has much more upside.
Besides, I think Hollins may need a kick in the rear to develop his game more. He's gotten by on potential and never really producing in college or the pros. At least Hollins was a pretty good college baller.
