For the Nets, that would make sense if AK could come back to near form of 2004. It's a huge upgrade over Jason Collins, and could just plan replace RJ altogether.

My brother is a huge Nets fan and he's hoping to God that trade goes down.

I can't belive that would go down. Too lopsided. AK-47 hands down.

Yeah, but Utah won't be trading talent for talent. They'd be looking to get rid of the headache of AK and find a suitable player in return. Jefferson more than fits that bill. While he's been a villain to the Bobcat massive, he can still ball, slashing and getting boards. He's a pretty good passer too. As long as he doesn't have to be the primary scorer (he was a TO monster during Kidd's absence), he'll be a great fit, especially as a SF paired with Boozer and Okur.

It makes sense for both teams.

If Kirilenko is willing to hold out when training camp starts and not report, Utah is going to find themselves in a tough spot. While I agree that AK is a better talent than Jefferson, if the Jazz don't have any leverage, they would be happy to take a deal like that. Personally, I'd like for the Jazz to move him somewhere he can go back to being a bigger focus on offense, as he's a pretty unique player and fun to watch.

AK-47 for us?

lol. j/k.

am feeling sad that he had to go, he was having a hard time "jelling" with the group as i've seen the past season. :(

With Marion's trade request, the Jazz may have a better option at hand. AK-47 for the Matrix anyone? Not sure if Marion would like not being "the guy" still, but I'd love to see AK-47 playing the 4 next to Amare with Nash in Phx (I know, Amare dissed the Bobcats, but the Suns are still fun to watch play ball).

A lot better than trading him for Richard Jefferso. Not as lop sided. It would be fun watching Amare, Nash, and AK-47 all on the same team.

I agree with Marion and AK.

Their Salaries are $3 mil apart, but that can easily be arranged. I say that'd be a sweet deal, for Utah. He played college ball @ UNLV, and there's gotta be some fans of em in Utah.

Don't see the Suns helping out Utah though. IMO Jefferson would make more sense to them as it's moving Marion to the East.
