I think it's great they're setting their goal high. I don't want our team to think that the best they can do is the 8th seed. They want to achieve higher and I think they can. I'm not saying that we can win the East, but it's a realistic thought that we can win the Southeast. Besides Atlanta, I think anyone else(Orlando, Washington, Miami, Charlotte) has a shot to win the division.

May not likely cleared for practice?! its gettin old man.

as far as the Bobcats predictions. say what you want... if your team doesnt have that attitude you should be ashamed.

this is just another piece that makes me proud to be a Bobcat fan... so far the players weve drafted or brought in have been very class.

IMO, you get Crash, J-rich, and felton on the same page... and watch the freak out... those three guys playing together and determined to beat your ass ... is scary.

I love this attitude of defiance... people questioning wether or not we can make the playoffs... and our players are aiming for a division championship... in arguably the most competetive eastern division.

Dude seriously...stellar post!

I've said it all along...Division Champions. IMO Washington is the team to beat, but even there I think we edge them talent wise.

Re-quoted...cuz it's soooooooooooo true.

Why did he wait until training camp to see these specialists? Couldn't he have done this during the offseason?

Maybe it was a wait and see approach?

"I know I have knee problems, I haven't lost enough weight, and I have no cartilage in my knees" hmm...let's wait until camp starts to do anything about it!"

Bum.

So Sam and Ray say Sean is fine. But..Sean waits until the first day of training camp to go see specialists, instead of umm maybe doing that the week before?

Makes no sense. Folks it breaks my heart, but this is the first sign for this season and its on the first freaking day of training camp for crying out loud. Did we really expect any better?

I think Sean May is done.

And on that subject...WHY does Amare Stoudemire have particles removed from his knee the day before camp opens, when he could have had that done weeks before? It always amazes me how that works out. I swear they do that on purpose to reduce star players time on the court during preseason.

...and WTH I swear the NBA is turning into the Knee Cartilage Erosion League. I'm thinking the NBA needs to go with rubberized courts like the high-tech running tracks use. Of course you'd have to raise the baskets about 4 feet, and put nets around the edges to catch the flying players.

it's good they aren't settling. however, that goal will not be reached, they could get home court in the first round if there are a few injuries to major players in the east and we stay HEALTHY!!!! that could be a reachable goal in a year or two.

Yeah they would end up basketball players with football gear on to protect themselves when they bounce off the walls and bump into each other.... :g:
