Mustashio , I agree it's far from over . Thats just a preseason game.I just hope coach don't try to force feed the starting gig to Hollins . He's not ready to start. Bring him in off the beanch Oakafor is a defencive stud. Walter is the only logical choice to start at the four now . Unless we start Wallace at four. Then Carroll , Morrison, Dudley could start at the three. Carroll to me could start at the two .With Morrison the sixth man it he can keep producing like he did last night off the beanch. I do agree with bonell the defence sucked last night for sure.

That's definitely my biggest worry right now. I also don't want him trying to turn Mek into an offensive go to guy. The man is superior in D...let him do what he does best.

Mustachio , If it makes you happy ill say start Morrison. My point is Hollins is NOT ready to start. Oakafor should start at the five. Do you not agree 60 points in the paint is too much. Do you not see we in truble with the bigs. Jake was underated in thet he did the dirty work. He could set a hell of a pick and his banging on people drove them crazy. He would piss you off make you mad and push you around. Commit the hard foul. We have no one thet can do that this year at all.

Seriously...I don't see why there's hate directed at Fabio?  No one is saying he should be taking Ammo's minutes.  If anything you'd better be worried about Duds.

BTW, you offered up FG% for Fabio, but gave total points for Hollins?  Heh...nice try!  Hollins went 1 for 5 and played 37 minutes vs. Fabio's 0 for 4 in 8 minutes!

first of all i never said anything about ammo... just because my screenname is one of his nick names doesnt mean i talk only about him. I never said Hermann is taking away Ammos minutes.

Im defending Hollins here. Fabio didnt look any better than HOLLINS! last night. and theres no hate toward Fabio. I just think his role is better coming off the bench. He had a good run last year... that doesnt make him the starter.

I was upset on the lack of defense as well...60 points in the paint and 123 total points in the game? That's just sad, and as much as Hollins is not a defender, I think he's the one that needs to start at the moment. He went up against an all-star and though he didn't have an outstanding performance, he didn't do that terrible. Sure no double, double, but no one expected it from him....Plus Herrmann didn't do to hot...

I wouldn't mind Jermareo Davidson starting over Hollins though...

Yes, I said as much on the Gameday boards. Actually, this preseason is helping us out more than a majority of the other teams in the league; both coaches and players are feeling each other out: the coaches are seeing how the personnel can run the new offense; the players are getting adjusted to said new offense. The defense will come around, it's just a matter of breaking in the new offense, which is a higher priority right now, being that it is preseason. Outside of what we're going to do about the 4/5 spots, there is little reason to be concerned as of right now.
