With one game down in preseason play I think we'll put on a better showing tonight against the Hawks.

* What kind of minutes Fabio gets
* If Adam continues to shoot well
* If Jermareo continues his solid play

Crash isn't playing, Okafor has only played 8 minutes..there are playing a lot of guys....to me besides Morrison, I think Jermareo Davidson is impressive tonight too...only 8 minutes, but he has 7 points...not bad...F/C Jameel Watkins also has a block...

My main question is how can Deji Akindele have played less than one minutes according to ESPN, and have FOUR, that's right FOUR Personal FOULS!

DavC NBA.com is showing Felts 5 of 6 FT...is that wrong? Nah, they just said 5 of 6.

It looks like the bench is scoring well too except for Touche'.

Also Jameel Watkins could be a possible inside guy to add, not a big scorer as in 9 minutes he has 2 points, but he also has a block and FIVE rebounds in 9 minutes...not too bad...

looking at the boxscore, it seems our shooters/scorers did a pretty good job in that game. :g: this is good. can't say that on ray (2-10 fgs) though :-\ but did he have 9 dimes in there.

I'm so happy this is the pre-season.

It looks like our offense is playing well, putting up 99 and 105 on back to back nights, on the other hand our defense leaves a lot to be desired.

I take it the players are learning the new system and getting used to each other and the coach is learning his guys and what they can do or not do, so I wouldnt expect some of these guys to play during a regular season game or even be sitting on the bench. Its only the 2nd pre season game. I thought we looked much better tonight in both areas but still need alot of work on D. Hammer and Ammo lit it up and even Twiggy did better than last night.... :g:

Here isthe game stats , We played well without Wallace and a very lose rotation. It was evident coach was looking at players and not just trying to win. Its possable one or to of those invites gets a contract.Hollins did ok and would be great in a back up role. Davidson did great in the first half and we will be seeing more of him. I kinda liked Watson could be he just played more defence than the Torch and he can rebound.
The three best players last night was our three main subs, Morrison , Hammer,and Fabio . Fabio needs more mins to get ready for the regular season.

Finally got around to crunching the numbers from last night - here are some of the things I noticed - http://www.queencityhoops.com/GameRecap101107.php - Considering we were missing Gerald (and gave up 48 fta - move your feet guys, don't reach), it was not a bad improvement from game 1.
