It sounds like he has impressed Coach Vincent quite a bit so far
“The thing that’s really encouraging is that he’s working to become a better defender,” Vincent said of Morrison. “He’s working hard and he’s getting stronger. I’m confident that this year he’ll become a guy — maybe not on the NBA All-Defensive team — but I think he’ll be a guy that at least can contain guys and contest shots. That’s what we’re asking of him.”

if he can play some d then he and carroll would be some d@mn firepower off the bench... remember... 6'8 white guys are not in the top three picks if they suck

He was playing D saturday night in GSO. I was impressed he played so well that night on both sides of the court.... :g:

He's a changed man...at least so far. All we should ever ask is for hard work and effort. I think Ammo will change a lot of fan's minds if he continues to do that.

i wouldn't call him a defensive "stopper" but improved defense would definitely be a welcome addition

After last year any defence from him is a improvement. But he was doing the job in GSO that night..... :g:
