I saw the SI basketball issue when i got home from work. Pretty stoked to see what they thought of the cats, like most people on this board even with the injuries i have high expectations for the team.... fucking 14 out of 15 in the east. I almost flushed it down the toilet.

WTF a little slow, i've heard a lot of things about Ray but i have never heard him called slow, ever. Dumb fucking ass... thats from a scout, obviously someone from Philly or the Hawks obviously their scouts would be great.

Haven't gotten around to the SI, but Sporting News has us 11th, and infers that we can contend for a playoff spot. I'm liking our chances because here are the teams directly in front of us:

10. Hawks
9. Wizards
8. Nets
7. Raptors
6. Heat

I have no fear of any of those teams, so our chances aren't all that bad; let's just hope we can compete with the Raptors this year after those terrible showings last year.

Hey guys. I saw this issue of SI as well.

As every sports fan does, I jumped for joy when I saw it in the mail. The Jolly Green Giants were on the cover (go figure) so I knew that SI was doing their NBA preview.

Now I may not be the best judge of NBA talent, but I know dang well that Ray is nowhere near slow. Out of all the write ups that I've read, that comment hurt my feelings. Did the writer even watch Ray play? Is there anyone on this board who can honestly type, with a straight face, that Ray is slow? I've literally had fans of other teams call me up after a game and say "Hey man, I didn't realize how fast Felton was dude. That guy is pretty sick". What a joke.

As for the Heat thing, I was also suprised. I thought they would do really well this year, but ONLY if they all stayed healthy. How can they be ranked so high with Wade still hurt?

I eventually turned the pages and read about some hockey goon's career in the NHL. Thanks a lot SI.
