Looks like some of the fans are all ready starting to think leting Rich go might be a big mistake.

hahaha OH WELLLLL too late now
I've never been a big fan of trading a proven guy -- in his prime -- for anyone coming out of college or high school in any sport. I'd rather go with what I know and pay the money any day of the week.

Well I'm loving it right now, Richardson is looking great through his first two games, last night he had 20 points, and he has 25 points through the first three quarters...

Its sounds like to me they are suffering from J-Rich envy. They are glad he is doing well with us but wish they still had him..... :g:
Having a lot of the GSW fans still watching and supporting JRich just confirms what a steal it was that we got him and makes me appreciate him even more.

Golden state fans suport J RICH still . Those fans have a lot of class . And we have become a lot of thems 2nd favorite team
So as long as they not playing us im pulling for them.

Agreed. The Dallas series was awesome. They seem to have good fans, like us.

So far i'm very happy with the J-Rich trade. I just hope that Wright doesn't become a monster in 3 years, and as a UNC fan it pains me to say that. I still hope he becomes good, but more like Tayshaun Prince good, not Chris Bosh good.
I want MJ to get rid of his bad rap here, and look back on that trade as the turning point to multiple rings.

nice find dav..that was one helluva trade for us. j-rich is amazing but I guess we will see how good b-wright is in a couple of years after he develops himself in the league.

I guess we are both losers. J-Rich is still to limited in many ways and he is too inconsistent.

Davidson looks better then Wright, even ignoring that we got JRich.

Can't belive we questioning our players after one hard play loss. Was 29 points on about 50 percent shooting not deccnt. Damn Atlanta is a goog team now. And we was on the road on the 2nd night of a back to back.
Give our team and players some cradit , Hell Atlanta shoot lights out first half. Damn we won the 2nd half . Not a bad effort by Rich and the whole team . Im not packing my bags this early in the season playing 5.00 ball.THIS EARLY

Well said dav7z. I agree I thought we looked good after the 1st (trying to dig our way back out of the 1st quarter hole we dug ourselves) We just came out flat in the 1st and thats all it was. We dont need to trade Felton and do drastic things to our team, patience is a good thing and we will be alot better if we are patient with the team and build it right. We are 4-4 and we have never been 4-4 before, enjoy it because we are going to be alot better before we are worse again..... :g:

I'm a Warriors fan. I still love JR and, yeah, I've sort of adopted the Bobcats as my 2nd team because of him.
You guys'll see this soon enough, but JRich doesn't have the quickest feet on defense and has trouble driving/handling the ball in traffic. Other than that (and his free throw woes), he's a fantastic, exciting player. Heart and soul of the Warriors last year. Sorely missed.
You guys running that backdoor alley-oop play for him? Or is he doing more shooting than dunking these days?

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by his handles and his D (a lot of us beat this trade to death before it actually went down). Not saying he's great by any stretch, but I'd consoled myself that he was so bad that he's actually around average. He's not going to beat any above average guard defender off the dribble, but he can run a break and he has VERY good vision.
I was hoping he'd get back into playing post up and driving more like he did before the knee surgery, but he's still avoiding it. IMO that'll decide on whether we made a good move or not. Doing nothing but shooting 3s on offense isn't worth the loss of an above average defender at the 2.
Not saying that's all he does, but a more all around offensive game will make all of us feel better about the trade.

He's a fantastic finisher... but not really a creator. You'll like him more and more if Felton continues to develop as a PG, and less and less if you're just feeding him the ball with four seconds on the shot clock and expecting him to make something happen.

After this 1st half vs. the Cavs I feel even more it's the coaching and a lack of game plan. Tonight it's obvious the focus is going inside. JRich seems to be in the paint a little more, and he did one sweet post up move against Hughes.
And he made one helluva pass in the 1st quarter...got the D board, passed it to Crash from the Cavs' FT line to our FT line over about 3 Cavaliers for the highlight dunk.
He really is a great passer...and he looks for the open man.

hes a good player, but he needs better support (coachs and players) honestly, I would start to rebuild the team around jrich and not felton or mek, hes an essential piece (not the superstar of a championship team but a 2nd option for sure) of what the bobcats could be...
