Alternate Unis

I say we wear them for every game here on out.

By the way I think when we'll wear the orange/white unis for the first time this season they will have the new "more traditional" font on there. I'm guessing it will look just like the "CHARLOTTE" that's written on our warm-ups.

Honestly, I like the orange unis, but if blue is the trick, then let's keep it rolling.

I'd like the change in font, but I also thought that they were gonna change the centercourt logo to the new one because they changed the font on the baseline to the new font, but that didn't happen.

I'm with you TheBeagle. I've never liked the blue and always liked the orange MUCH better.

The fact that the Bucks wore home court white at our own season home opener didn't sit well with me either.............but I really like winning so I might just shut up now!!

The blue is growing on me as well.

I love the orange, but the blue's aren't so bad. I just wish you could actually buy a Gerald Wallace in a medium. Why is it so hard?

Really I just love the Bobcats it dont matter to me which UNI they wear as long as we win. I like the blue, I like the orange, I even like the white. We are winning in the blues right now so keep it going..... :g:

I think the reason behind the opening day with the alternates was maybe to symbolize a new, better bobcats. All offseason we made changes in getting JRich, and the playoff talk has buzzed around Charlotte for the first time since the hornets. The newer jerseys might make fans see us a good team and not just that new expansion team in orange.

That's what I think keetch. A sea of Orange really pops out of the seats in an arena. The blue is a little too soft to pull that off.

Keetch, that was my vision as well. In a thread this summer, the questioned was asked what could we diehard fans do to create a buzz, and I thought that it would be cool to go all-out in orange. All four of my Bobcats Ts are orange (excluding Friday's blue freebie). Apparently that's not what the 'Cats management has in mind, what with Blue night or whatever it was they called Friday.

Also, I really like Tupac's idea of phasing out the white, and going to orange roadies and blue at home. Wonder if there's any chance of that.....

Ultimately, davcbow has the best perspective; just put on something and go out and win!!

I can't say I like those "sea of color" things. I like a colorful crowd as opposed to everyone being dressed the same color.

Never liked the color orange much anyway. Blue unis look better, and are probably more easily matched to most wardrobes than orange, making it more likely the fairweather fan will buy one. Better colors and playoff contender means more exposure and more money for the team. All we need now is for GW or J-Rich to get his national commercial as the new grandmama, make the playoffs, and they will be flying off the shelves. Blue uni's = 82-0!

Thanks for the love. I think my computer or the website was messed up. I tried for about a half hour to create a name and it said they were all taken. Finally I said screw it, added all my different attempts into one name and ran with it
