lets all come together and use our magical powers to make felton only have a bruised knee
did anybody see the fall? did it look like it buckled in a way that would tear anything? if there is a picture/video it will be easy to tell if anybody has one

Looks kind of intentional to me. Not saying Nash was trying to hurt anyone, but it does look to me like he meant to sweep his foot.
Felts is a little iron man. That's good that he can fight thru injury, but lots of times that's bad becaue he really should rest sometimes.
“He is a key part. He’s the guy that runs the offense, and he’s the guy that gets a lot of us going,” Wallace said. “He’s the one guy – if there is any guy on this team that we can afford not to lose, he’s that top, 99 percent of that guy that we can’t afford to lose. We can’t even afford to have him banged up. That’s how important he is to this team. To see him go down and go down in pain, especially for me because I’ve been with him since he came into the league and I know how tough he is. He’s played through a lot of injuries and played banged up, so to see him go down groaning like that and have to have help off the court is a real concern for me.”
He's desperately needed, regardless of what some might say.

yeah spectre i was at the game and about threw my beer on the court after i saw the replay. It looked to me at the time like he intentionally swept at his knees. But since he is steve nash... you can definetly not expect any punishment.
and i dont care what anyone says. Steve Nash is over rated. any point guard who plays defense as pathetic as that guy does shouldnt be in the mention of MVP ever. if you gave Brevin Knight... Michael Finley and Dirk and then SToudemire Marion he could put up good assist numbers too.

That is great news on Felton. Now that he's out, teams are going to double up on G-dub and J~horror even worse making it hard to score. Damn it!!! Give Jamereo and Dudley more minutes at the 4, which will spread the floor lovely. :g:

Good to hear no ligament damage. He shot the FT's and then he just went down. When he was being helped of the court and he was putting no pressure on his knee it scared the hell out of me. Hopefully he won't be out long. If he misses today's game hopefully he'll be ready to play Friday.
Get well soon Ray.

Sooo, good to hear that he's alright. We need him badly and he seems like a nice guy who doesn't deserve to be forced to leave a game due to getting his leg swept.

From what I hear the plan is to sit him out today, and he could be back as early as Friday night...

Bobcats Not About To Panic (http://www.nba.com/bobcats/blog_squad_0708.html)
Charlotte might also be getting some help at getting back to what it’s good at, as Raymond Felton might soon return to the Bobcats starting lineup after missing Wednesday’s game in Philadelphia with a sore left knee.
“It’s cool right now,” Felton said after practice Thursday. “I’m probably about 80-85 percent, so hopefully I’ll be ready by tomorrow – no, I will be ready for tomorrow, no matter what.”
Never fear...the little iron man is here!
“If people are looking at us just through training camp and the first few games, and thinking we would be where we ultimately want to be – I don’t think any NBA team is there,” said Vincent after Thursday’s practice. “I think it would be putting a whole lot of pressure on us to assume that we could be there. We have to continue to grow and evaluate and analyze some of the things that we haven’t done well, and we have to make some adjustments. We’re still 2-2. There are some teams below us, so at .500, we’re still in pretty good shape. We have to re-identify what we can be good at and take away some of the weaknesses.”
From what went on in the chat the last game I think some should probably step back and think about where we are. We have kinks to work out, but overall I'm loving what we have here...well ok, there are exceptions (looking at you Touche'/Primoz). Fans HAVE to give this group time to gel and work it out.

I actually saw Harrington do something useful when Felton went down...
He helped carry him off the court. :P
