Bobcats (2-1), Philly (1-2)

Feels damn good to have a Bobcats game on TV (News Channel 14) but yea I like our chances in this game hopefully we can get back on the winning track with a W tonight.

By the way as some know already the Observer is reporting Felts will sit out during tonights game.

I have a feeling this is the game in which Carrol and/or Herrmann will get back into a groove.

After a beatdown last night by the Suns, I predict that the Bobcats will bounce back and return the favor to the 76ers.

In a little over 2 hours, we shall be siiting atop the Southeast division at a gaudy 3-1.

Primoz screws up the whole offense. His crappiness cause us to stand around and takes J's.

Can we please have someone move towards the basket.

Thanks dude and matty c.

Nice D Jeff, instead of guarding the guy with the ball on the break cover the guy without the ball. That 5 year old y-ball there. GDI! They are really pissing me off right now.

Continue with the Goat Bukakke boys.

Following the game on NBA.com and we're down 21-36. My guess is we're not doing too hot right now.

11-07-2007, 07:52 PM
Richardson is 1-9 wow that's bad. McInnis is 0-4 so that's not any better...man this sucks, at least Carroll's shooting well tonight...

Grandmama
11-07-2007, 07:55 PM
As of right now we are down 19 to the flippin sixers. Drive to the hole and put the biscut in the basket. Why is Matt the only one making agressive moves to the hoop, everyone else is playing with their head in their asia.

16 TO's by the sixers and we are down 17? Damn they are shooting over 60%, good god. Thats some weird good/bad D. I think we are shooting below 35%.

Wallace15
11-07-2007, 08:14 PM
We're being out shot and outrebounded. They even have more turnovers than us and we're still getting killed. JRich is 1-10, that's just pure suckage. Carroll's the only one keeping us somewhat in the game with his 12pts. We better come out in the 2nd half ready to play and be aggressive because if we don't then it's just gonna get uglier.

I can't see the dam game. I have direct tv. I got the league pass thinking I'd be able to watch the games...all four of the first games have been blacked out. I'm so pissed. I guess I'll have to go back to tw cable. Anyone have any idea's??

Unfortunatly b/c of the Bobcats TV deal with time warner i don't think they are in the league pass package. that might be wrong though.

11-07-2007, 09:04 PM
We can not shoot the ball at all tonight, J-Rich is shooting terrible at 1-10, and Philly is shooting amazingly at over 63%. But hey at least we are not losing to the Celtics 77-38 at halftime like the nuggets...

Alex
11-07-2007, 09:20 PM
umm, what the hell is going on?

i don't think we've been blown out like this two nights in a row in the first three years. are the guys happy with two wins? what happened to all that talk about fast break offense?

this is pathetic what i'm watching. 57 points with 2:30 to play? seriously?

CaptainCrunchIsBack

we have looked pretty solid tonight

11-07-2007, 09:23 PM
better savor those two wins, the way the cats have played tonight and last night are terrible. It looks like they don't even care. Sam Vincent should probably rip them apart in the locker room, maybe he can get 'em believing again.

Jason Richardson 4 points on 2-15 shooting, that's just terrible...Gerald Wallace 3-10, Jeff McInnis 1-6, Herrmann 0-4, Dudley 2-8...this is terrible, we'll never win like that....63 points in the whole game, just sad....If we're going to play like this we may just need to kiss any thoughts of playoffs away...

Team Shooting 30.7% tonight and 23 TO? Just terrible...

LOL at the trainwreck pic!!!

The 'Cats are on League Pass, but if you're in the TWC area they will block the games. I'm about 15 miles out of Raleigh; that's how I'm able to get them.

And boy did we suck tonight.

Wallace was limping a bit tonight was he doing so against the Suns last night as well? he hasn't looked good since going down hard against the Heat.

I am at a loss guys. All the great teams have a PG who can penetrate with such ferocity that it draws the Defense in and then the PG just dishes out to a shooter. Look at the top 10 teams in the league and they have that person. Can Ray be that person? If he can, then J-Rich, Carroll and others can be spot up shooters and make it rain 3's. I know DA cannot do it and Touche' cannot do it. I don't know yet if Ray can. i hope he can, but I just don't know yet. He has to do it this season. If not, and the season floats away like a bad turd down the toilet bowl, I would not know if I'd go after a Big in the draft or a PG I thought we could build around. I want Ray to be the one, but I give him this year to make me a believer.

Wow, that was ugly. That was Rosie O'Donnell in a thong bikini ugly.
I'd like to somehow erase that miserable display of "basketball" from my brain.

What the hell just happened? Can somebody explain to me how the Bobcats could only generate 61 points in 48 minutes of basketball?

Now that is some SERIOUS UGLY!!! Yikes!!!!

I dont know. I know Ray was out, and we had no PG distribution. I still think Crash, J-Rich and Okafor are a solid 3 to build around. I am hopeing Ray is a 4th, but I do not know yet. This year will tell. Do we need a Big to complete a starting 5, or do we need a PG who can be the difference maker.

i know there is a lot of love for Ray on the Planet, and I love him as well. But, look at the elite teams in the NBA. Thay all have that dynamic PG who just penetrates, draws the Defense in and dishes out so nicely to the others to shoot. look at what Nash does night in and night out. Paul in New Orleans, the kid in Utah, the Spurs, Mavs, etc...... is Ray our guy? Can he be that guy? Or, do we try for a Big as a FA next year and target a PG in the draft? i know we cannot answer that question now. I am giving Ray the year, but he must convince me. I have posted this 2x tonight because it really bears a lot of thought on the matter. I do not want to just settle for being a good team. I want to achieve greatness.

I think Ray has looked solid so far this season getting guys the ball at the right position I can't speak on last night but the first two games he's played well.

That is why I am saying give him the year to prove it to me. I am looking at the big picture. I see 3/5 I like, 1/5 I hope pans out like if want, and 1/5 needs vast improvement. That is just our starting 5. The bench shows promise as a solid bench.

The way I see it this season we have things to figure out both players and V's lineups need some improvement. I think it will come around if not too many more injuries occur this season. Last nights loss was due to inexperience on V's part as far as match ups along with this funk the starters are in. Tonights loss was due to poor shooting and matchups. Poor ole V dont have much talent left to draw from; what help will Harrington be if he ever comes back? Not much help at all. LOL; what would Bernie do? But I think the entire thing comes from the Maimi game, I think V wore out the starters in that game and it showed up in the 4th quarter of that game and they havent recovered from it yet, but thats just what I think.... :g:

Just goes to show the importance of Felton to the offense.

Haven't seen the game yet (had to work), but I will actually watch the thing, just so I can analyze wtf is going on. If it's fatigue from the Miami game, then we need a whole new set of players that are in shape. If playing 40+ minutes in the second game of the year is that detrimental, we are in serious, serious trouble, especially if Sam wants an up-tempo offense.

Seems like JRich is everything he was labeled; a jump shooter who can occasionally make a move to the basket if he doesn't turn the ball over with poor ball handling. I'm not going to condemn the guy yet, but I'm really close to saying something here......

I can stomach the 32 pt. loss to the Suns, but there is no excuse for this. Thankfully, players forget losses quicker than fans, but really, they deserve to have 5K people show up for Friday's game the way they've played the past 2 games.

Listening to the postgame on the radio on the way home, DA says that they just weren't clicking tonight and they're still trying to get a handle on Sam's system. Sam Smith, the radio guy, said that Coach Sam wasn't available for postgame comments and, to paraphrase, 'would do his talking at tomorrow's practice.'

On the bright side: we've been outscored by 58 points this year, yet we're 2-2!!

Also, it seems as if GW is right with his postgame comments last night, that the last guy they needed to get hurt is Raymond.

Can't criticize anybody until I see the game, but it appears as if these guys are just going through the motions, which is an indictment on both players and coaches.

I DON'T think so as i think Bernie would get more hustle out of his players than coach V has so far . Coach V lets them loaf to much as Bernie kept up the hustle. Coach V will get better in time its just his first year so lets not hang him yet.

This team might play with a little more energy and momentum if the people of NC and Charlotte would back them. It has to be disheartening to the players when they go to play a great team like Phoenix and their arena is practically empty.

Other fans have told me that the team needs to win first. I say this team has already won more in three years existence than any other in the expansion era. The owner and Jordan went out and got J-Rich and kept the better share of a young hustling and talented team together. With a month and a half left to last season this team beat some playoff teams and looked great. The fact that the fans haven't responded better than they have is sad.

Some may say these players are millionaires and should just do their jobs but that has nothing to do with being a performer and what that entails. Nothing makes a performer perform more than an enthusiastic audience. As great as MJ was he may not have had some of the great performances he had without the backing of a state and city behind him and the Bulls. You may say the Bulls were winning but that was not always the case. You may also say Jordan was a star but that was not always the case. The Chicago fans may not have sold out every game before Jordan came but they supported the team better than what the Bobcats are getting in Charlotte right now. Plus if fans turn up to see other teams stars perform they should have had a better showing for the Suns and it's multiple stars. As far as Super Stars go, their are not many of them so attendance should be low most of the season under that assumption.

With that said, I think Bernie B was more adept at getting quality play out of the players than what we saw from the team the last two games. However we can't forget that most of the best play happened late last year when the team was forced to give bench players more minutes due to injury and they hustled to make the coach and staff take notice. Do you think the two lop sided losses may have done one thing that was good? To me the good is Sam Vincent was forced to take a look at the bench a bit more than he was doing beforehand. We are not dead but we need hustle if we are to have a chance to cover over our deficiencies in the post. I can't make a judgment on the D until the O comes around. It is early and things may shake out alright, we shall see what we shall see.
