As allways great work Captain, As for the game it should be interesting with Wade back and the Heat at home in need of a win badly.
This game will help define our whole season . We need a win. We playing on the road against a team thet wants
a win bad. We the better team but are we ready to win the games we should. In a hard situation.
Felton has a good game as well as Wallace. OK50 needs a good game but usely don't have one against the Heat.
I think Rich is the deciding factor . We need him on his a game to come out with a win.

i think this is a must win for the cats. if they don't win, i could see this streak reaching 5-6 and putting us out of contention for a little bit. i think if wallace plays, he'll have a big day but we just need to contain shaq against brezec

Wade is back so I see JRich and Primoz having to play a heck of a game tonight, the rest should take care of itself. I hope Primoz continues to improve and plays his best the game of year so far. JRich I hope you come out hot tonight and not wait till the 2nd half to get it going although we will need it then also.
Go Bobcats!!!!!!!

Good work on the thread Captain!
I hope that the residue of the Celtics game doesn't linger with the Cats into tonight's game.
We need a win tonight to get it out of our system.

Brother, Wade may have the occasional off night, but you are not going to contain him. He is a stud on the Court. He's the one who won them the title the other year, not Shaq. And, he's just now coming back from the injury. Lord help us.

The radio definitely received a big shrug when the Big OH came in. Offensive foul (his second already)! Yeah for the Big OH!
Also, I really like to say "the Big OH," don't know if you noticed.
Glad to see the DUDE getting more burn though, he earned it the other night.

How is Brezec doing tonight...I see he's got a block, but from the highlights I just saw it seemed he was getting beat pretty badly...The upside on Primoz is finally his shooting is getting a bit better...but we need to come back and win this!

primoz is solid tonight, ive never seen this kind of energy
ps we fucking blow, and our team needs to learn to pass, because there's been at least 5 turnovers that were thrown into a crowd of 3 heat players....vincent needs to realize they are crowding the paint, and we need to stretch it out more

WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH?!
__________________________________________________ __
You just watched us prove to ourselves that we are not nearly as good as we thought. When you look at our 6 victories, we beat a Miami team 2x without Wade, and then some really poor teams much like ourselves. Now, we are starting to get our butts kicked, and our flaws are showing big time.
I just posted on the "Identity Crisis" Thread that I think there is a silver lining. We are seeing that we made an error with J-Rich. We ahve 3 more years of this at $11 mil/yr. No one will take that off our hands. But, we do not compound the problem. Come draft time, i take the best available person, be it a PG, SG. PF or C. (Crash stays my F) I would have no issue drafting Rose or Mayo as my PG who can also score, and would move Ray to SG and let him shoot, drive and dish, and make his own shots. I think that is his true instinct. I would let J-Rich lead the charge off the bench. BUT, we do not have to start him next year if we can get an impact scorer at the PG or SG to help Ray. Dont compund the problem unnecessarily. IF we drafted at the PG or SG, then address the PF or C thru FA next year.

Ahhhh. Another vintage Bobcats road game. The Sam Vincent hire is turning out to be a good hire because the continuity between Bernie's era and this era is almost seamless. I'm not planning on watching the tape of this game, but what little I heard of it on the radio on the way home, I could've sworn I was listening to a game from the '06 season: just an unforced turnover fest.
I'll admit I've been in a sour mood since the Wiz game, but I think it's time we apologize to the lot of the media critics of the 'Cats. As I've stated ad nauseum, our start was pure fool's gold, winning against slow-starting, injured, and just plain awful teams (and even losing to a couple of those too). We're so much like my Astros from this past season it's incredible:
1. If we get behind by any significant margin, game over. We can't make comebacks, due to whatever reasons; lack of scoring firepower, lack of intensity, lack of leadership...
2. If we are up late in the game, we just have to pray that we don't blow it, and that we can hold on because anybody can make comebacks against us.
I'm pissed at management, but I don't know for what reason. Is it because:
1. They hired soaking-wet-behind-the-ears Sam Vincent as head coach to lead this team to a level of success, and a culture of winning, or
2. They promised a legitimate playoff push this season in the first place.
I'm seeing a double-digit losing streak coming, with a great chance of it reacing the teens; Dec. 21 against the Knicks is our best shot. And as predictably bad as this team has become, don't be surprised to see it happen.

Well...uh... at least Primo is getting better with each game and this should have been a game where Herrmann got a decent amount of playing time. For some reason we kept passing to Harrington and I think Wallace hurt us a good bit more then helped us today.

Away game against a team we beat 2 times already, we wernt getting out of Maimi alive this time. Maimi looked pretty good right off the bat tonight like there was no friggen way we were gonna beat them. Beat us shooting 45.9% - 58.0%. Killed us in 3's 25% - 50%. Got us in FT's 18/24 - 25/31. Every catagory they beat us. Bad bad game....
Will the gods please make this tail spin stop! :g:

"WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH?!"
ROFL
Good question...I could write 3 pages on how awful that looked, but way bother, hell, the Bobcats didn't.
I'd just LOVE to see a few pass outs to Matt standing at the 3 pt. line. The man should get a lounge chair and TV stand and at least get something out of his free time out there.

I have been defending Sam V. and giving him time to figure out the team and the right mix. He still deserves the time, the full season, for us to see if he is up to the job. We all know that he is MJ's man, so he will likely have at least 3 full years to prove himself.
I do not blame him so much. He is not responsible for the player personnel we have on the team. He can only play the cards that management dealt him.
The issue is our evaluation of the players we have drafted over the years and have made trades for or let go. I tend to blame the upper tier mgmnt more for our weaknesses. They are th ones who have passed on some young talent in the draft for players who have thus far let us down. **The one undeniable exception is Crash. He was a briliant pick up. We could have conceivably had a much more powerful team over the past 4 dfafts.

Yes. But probably because he is the only one who is playing worth a crap. Ray is almost worth a crap, perhaps a wet fart. The others are playing like just plain old farts.

I've been wondering the same thing regards Wallace. As much as he drives into the paint; it's almost guaranteed a dunk, miss, foul or charge; but rarely if ever a pass back out. I don't think he has the ability to look out once he's starts driving in. So teams will adjust and look to crowd him the paint as I think we're seeing. What used to be personal fouls are often becoming charges.
It seems that crash could use a little control to his play. His game is pretty strange.
In other threads; there's been discussion of who our go-to guy is, and I'd sure like it to be Wallace; but at the current time, his poor outside shooting and poor assists make it tough. Opposing teams are figuring him out for now.

I just don't like how it looks like Wallace is forcing himself to be the go to guy. If Carrol, Herrmann, or someone else is open (I say Carrol and Herrmann because they look to be open alot) pass to them. I tink Wallace is our best player, but it looks like he is becoming a Kobe like player at times. Like he is thinking "this is my team" instead of "this is our team".
I think I'm crazy.

I think could be a combination of the new style offence and maybe alot of times he's the only one open, or maybe not aware of whats going on around him which he will get in time. I hope its not selfishness because he's never been like that before.... :g:

All I know is, even though he isn't putting up big numbers, Dudley looks like he is helping the team more then Wallace as of lately. I wish i could check the numbers for this (*cough cough* Brett).

You should make this a new topic (maybe a little more neutral title)...we can have some good discussion about Crash and being the go to guy.
