Why am I not surprised, but look at the positive, they may be enough for us to get another big man. I remember them saying that they would proceed after seeing if Othello could play. I'm not sure who is available, but we need help

Honestly I don't care if 2 mill is charged to us, I'm willing to pay him that just to get rid of him...he's useless and always injuried, and we need someone that can actually help us...

My Prayer:
Dear baby lord Jesus, in the manger, watching over our Bobcat team as we struggle mightily to save face and play well. Please do us this one favor as Christmas time approaches. Grant us this one miracle. Please drop your divine inspiration upon Othello and make him realize his is hurting the prople he loves. He must leave this game, in its entirety, and never again show his face in public in Charlotte, NC. Retire to the land from where you came, whatever State that may be, as long as it is not in the Carolinas. Let him realize he is a drain on our power, on our fanhood, draining us of energy as we try to band together and pull hard for the Cats. If this is not possible, can he simply fall in the shower at home, break his leg, and then relalize his career is over? Thank you, over and out. Amen!

Absolutely!!! This guy is trash for not retiring! Something along this line happened to my Astros and Jeff Bagwell a couple years back. Managment was trying to get Baggy to retire so they could save some coin, but Baggy wanted to give it one more go, due to his love of the game and the Astros, despite his chronic shoulder. It didn't work out, but he promptly called it quits, and the Astros recouped some of the money due to an insurance clause. Baggy was the absolute BEST and a true PRO; wanting to hang on some he could help the team, not just cash checks for riding pine; Harrington is just a fucking glutton. He knows his knee is shit; he knows his productivity is shit, but he's bilking the system. The anti-Bobcat, and most definitely the anti-Baggy.
I second ohara's prayer. Amen!

http://blogs.gastongazette.com/RichardWalker/archive/2007/11/29/vincent_seeks_help.aspx
Vincent has been saying since before training camp he felt veteran Othella Harrington, second-year Ryan Hollins and rookie Jermareo Davidson wasn't going to be enough backup support for a frontline of center Primoz Brezec and power forward Emeka Okafor.
Now, with Harrington trying to come back from September arthroscopic knee surgery, Hollins shelved indefinitely with a partially-torn shoulder muscle, Brezec struggling (again) and Davidson playing like, well, a rookie, Vincent has turned up the heat a bit in recent weeks.
"I've been asking for another big man for a long time," Vincent responded to a question over whether or not he'd make a roster move in light of Hollins' injury. "Rod's aware. Michael's aware. It kind of puts us in a certain situation. I know they're making the phone calls and trying to improve the roster all the time."
I think we'll see Harrington be waived in a very short time to make room for a FA signing. Higgins is -of course- making some calls, but if he had arranged something, he'd have pulled the trigger already. A D-League call up seems me so likely.

Maybe these injuries will push us into conversations with Cleveland about a sign-and-trade for Varejao...nah, we'll just find someone who will sign a league minimum deal so that the NBA will cover a big chunk of the contract. Not that I am bitter or anything about the big men depth on the team (and bringing McInnis back).

I just looked up his stats here: http://www.nba.com/dleague/playerfile/sl_elton_brown/
He looks like a good prospect.
22.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 61.4% shooting
