After a couple of weeks of me just lurking, I'm back. Well, I didn't really go anywhere, but Thanksgiving and all that jazz has left me postless the last few days.

Anyways, this is a must win for us. No excuses tonight. Give Oaktown the ball. Don't choke away the lead, and establish a nasty D fense from the get go. It's about time this team starts playing up to their potential. Tonight is a perfect night to do just that!

I was happy to see a little more movement by the Bobcats, including by Felton off the ball. We still had way too many TOs, but I think they need to keep communicating and build confidence.

Still a work in progress (notice everyone seemed scared to shoot from outside...esp. Felton), but overall I like feeding Mek. His FT shooting is going to bite us in the ass occasionally and his passing needs to get up to snuff, but overall we move better when we do that.

Felton with the ice pumping thru those veins at the end! VERY nice, as we usually give the game away at the FT line.

Man, with the stupid fouls in the last minute, I was starting to see the Celtics game all over again! This will give me heart problems!

I'm pleased we won, but you know what is disheartening? The fact that our prize acquisition this off season has to be on the bench in the last moments of a close game b/c he sucks so badly at the FT line. At the end, he is seen as more of a detriment than an asset. That just should not be.

JRich's poor FT shooting was well known before he came to Charlotte. He also got 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocked shots and shot 60% from the field with 18 points.

Yeah I wasnt disapointed with JRich, mek played decent, gerald was a beast, his blocks were great, but now we need to figure out that on a fast break we all have to run back not just gerald and when he makes the block we need the rebound otherwise its useless

We need to still go to Mek more than we did tonight although we did alot better in that area. Primoz did some good stuff tonight, I laughed at the look on his face when he got the slam dunk off the offensive rebound from the missed Mek lay up early on in the game. Mek did pretty good tonight, Gerald gave them hell with the steals and blocks. I think Felts did great with the free throws at the end of the game, but his passing has to get better now. He threw several bad passes tonight that almost blew the wind out of our sails in the 3rd and early 4th.
Jrich hurt his hand off one of Felts passes, now if they could get that type pass play down near the bucket its really gonna be something. It was a well deserved win and hopefully they have learned more how to close out a game.

I was at the game and for the first time I've got to say I had little fun. Frankly the PA system is getting over-the-top loud. I think they turned it up even higher last night. The incessant promotions, contests, LETS GO CATS and DEFENSE! just wears me down. By the end of the game we couldn't get out of there fast enough. It's getting very painful. I'm not sure I want to go back.

That plus .. seeing Jemario Davidson walk onto the court in street clothes while Othella was dressed out, just made my head spin...TOO MUCH McInnis!!!...lord make it stop!

Without LeBron; the Cavs are a very very bad team, extremely weak in the back court AND the front court; yet they took us to the final play. We could have easily lost this game after failing to put it away in the 3rd Quarter due to ridiculous rotations. Way too much McInnis. In the final minute Shannon Brown TWICE IN A ROW drove the lane for a slam; the first time around McInnis (who had just been rotated in for defense at least I guess it was for defense, not sure why else they'd do that) and the second time around JRich. He was fouled on the first drive for an And1. Ugh.

First of all, I'm proud of the guys for winning and eliminating one of my 4 season predictions (losing 13 in a row), though in my defense, I was assuming Lebron would be playing when I made the prediction a couple weeks back, nonetheless, AWESOME WIN!!!!!!!!!


Secondly, I'm glad you said something about that damn PA volume. I've been to 5 games thus far, and 4 out of 5 games I've left with a headache because of that ridiculously loud blowhard!!!!!!! I've already warned against some people going because of the unnecessary volume, and that shouldn't be. I caught some of the PackMan show with Mark Packer earlier in the week, and many complaints were made regarding this. Hopefully something will be done because it does take away from the enjoyment of the experience, plus, nothing's more pathetic than some stooge trying to indicate when and what we (the fans attending the game) should chant. Have they ever heard of spontaneity, or can that only be found at highschool and college games? :g:

I agree, to me it seems like they are catering to a younger crowd using sansationalism that only works on kids, I mean how original is "Lets go Cats" using sound effects with a drum beat behind it? Boring. You want a crowd rowser use the guys with their buckets as a crowd rowser something they can drum and the crowd can get off on, loudly. To me "Let Go Cats! Lets Go cats! bla bla bla" so loud that your ears are ringing after the game is ridiculis to me, but thats just me.
