Rock Band

I've bought mine for Christmas, because I've always thought that being a rock star was my real calling.

Is anybody else planning to spend hours of no-talent fun with this game?

I'm on the fence. I would probably get it if I didn't have to buy the guitar too. Have you tried it out yet?

Nope. I should have clarified. I've bought, but will not play until X-Mas.

There is a good chance that I will get rid of the drums, do you want me to let you know if i'm going to? That way if you do end up wanting to buy it, you can just buy the games and my drums if you want.

I wanted Guitar Hero III, but you can't find the dang thing anywhere. I only wanted the guitar. It basically came down to how much inflation I was going to pay. It was a little less of a pain with Rock Band. Guitar Hero's going rate is like $60 dollars above face value, where I only payed about $20 more for Rock Band than I should have paid.

The concept of having a fake band seemed fun anyways, plus I figured I could just sell the drums on amazon.

Thanks Ed, I'll let you know if I make it to Rock Band.
I'm going to try to finish either Mass Effect or the Orange Box before I buy anything else. I hate leaving games halfway finished :)

Mass Effect looks awesome. I'm like you though, I feel like I need to get sick of Halo and now Rock Band first.
