Wow. It has been almost 24 hours since anyone posted anything! This is an eerie silence. I know there is a bleakness to our season right now. Al the talk of trades, but nothing happening in the rumor mills. There is just a "funk" here and we need to band together and pull out. I have to change the atmosphere here, so I am making this new post.

I've been feeling this too, and adding to it by posting nothing. Unfortunately, I've found myself with nothing to say. I'm a little frustrated with trying too look at the bright side of the team. And, they've got a three day in between games. Top it all off, there have been no juicy trade or releasing-big-OH rumors to talk about. Maybe we should make up a rumor. How about Bob Johnson mulling trade with panthers to get Julius Peppers who says he wants to get back into basketball. We can trade Primoz who will then play wide receiver opposite Steve Smith. What they don't realize is that he's just as likely to drop the ball as any other receiver on the roster not named Steve Smith.

Oh, and WvsMc, keep spamming. It gives me something to read.

Right now I feel that this team is good, but we just have a few little adjustments that need to be made. Im was a little dissapointed with the guys, but then I saw them against the cavs and think we can go far again. I get pissed EVERY SINGLE NIGHT when PRIMO F-ING BREZEC starts over someone like Ryan Hollins, or at least go with the Touche-Felton-JRich-Crash-Okafor line. I still think that if we make a run, we can save the season and make the playoffs. Otherwise, it will be tough to improve on the season from last year.

A things that I would have done right now, although I only have limited knowledge compared to Vincent:
  1) get Dudley more PT
  2) Let Felton play longer at the point
  3) Always keep at least one of our core on the floor
                - Ex. There is no excuse to play a lineup consisting of Anderson-Carroll-      Mcginnis-Hollins-Brezec

Overall, I like some of the adjustments our team has made. We have definitely been driving the bucket more and that has resulted in getting more free throws and layups. I also like the fact that we have fed EO50 more, and he has really shown a quickness down low as far as moves to the basket are. I should say though that his 10 foot J should be reserved for the practice court at this point, and it pains me to see him take those and airball or barely catch the rim every time he takes them.

I think we still have a chance, we just need to work on our chemistry and hammer out our problems.

I have to say, what more can i say, I love the bobcats, but at the same time I know we are not right, not close to being right. Our teams roster just doesnt work, ive said it before, but i think we need to start over building around jrich as the 2nd best player on the team, and hope to draft our next superstar, get rid of what screws this roster up. I just dont like the combination of mediocre players on the team, it hurts me, but frankly if i owner the team, major changes are due, I might look to europe a little more too, anything to change what we have now, maybe in my world 5 or 6 players stay, call me crazy but i think thats what we will need before we make a serious title contention...

on a happier note, whos excited for the nationally televised game? I am even though... well I am worried, Ill put it that way

Its just quiet now because everybody is miserable over the sorry performances in the last 10 games.

Instering thoughts most true. Like most others i din't know what to think or say.

Things i would like to see happen with the team.
1. I would like to see Hollins become our starter unless we trade for another big.
2. I would like to see a reglar rotation.
3. I would love for the coach to do away with the small line up. Mcinnis and Felton at the same time.
4. I would love to see us speed the game up and go back to a run and gun no matter who we play . We suck in a half court slow paced game.
5. Take Harington compleatly out of our rotation. Play Primoz limited mins subing in Herrmann and Dudley to give OK50 and Hollins and Wallace a rest With Hammer subing for Rich and some for Wallace. DA subing for Felton as Mcinnis plays no defence or offence [I THINK HES TRUBLE ON THE COURT] bad for chemristy.

So with out a trade this is who i think we need to work with.
1. Felton , no more than 10 shots per game . more assist.
DA giving Felton a rest.
2. Rich , only open threes and more midrange jumpers fade aways. Hammer as a solid back up taking the threes coming off screans
3. Wallace . Less jumpers more clear outs for one on ones to the hoop.Herrmann backing up Wallace
4. OK50 demanding the ball . At least 12 shots per game. With Dudley and Herrmann as key back ups hear. Depending if the need is moer defence or offence.
5. Hollins stay very active defend the middle . and not worrie about to many fouls energy is his key. Back ups OK50 then Primoz if fouls start to build up . All so i would make Primoz my hacker when he played . Nothing under the rim but a damn hard foul.
I would try to give Davidson some burn to get experiance.

Coach V needs to stick with one stradgy instead of changing after ever game. Things like rotations, tempo, off sets. fast breaks , defencive sets. Most of all he needs to start coaching and listen to his gut feeling. Instead of leting every body else coach the team.Imbrace the players get a few tecks and let them know they in things toghter.

MY GOD DO NOT DRESS OTHELLA HARRINGTON TO PLAY WHILE DAVIDSON SITS IN HIS SUIT, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS FREAKING MORONS ?? !!

...and ... umm I really think Okafor is as pure a center as there is .. and a darn good one. I'd start him at Center every night and play Herrmann at PF backed up by Davidson and Wallace. Hollins backs up Okafor and yup I agree Primo for quality hacking!

And yes! making McInnis 3rd string PG totally works for me. Its just sick sitting at these games watching our clueless coaches blow it night after night. Are they really so stupid? I mean what are the qualifications to be an NBA Head Coach? Must not include intelligence...

Im glad this thread got brought up. I really am trying to wait it out a little. Ive got things to say but i feel like if i say them ill regret it. Its just tough with all the expectations.

I think the only thing we can do is stick with it and not bring the added pressure of a finicky fan base. Like NY KNICKS fans. They are doing nothing but making the situation worse.

Oh man that PA announcer gives me nightmares. After cats games I go home and when it is silent I can still here his LETS GO CATS in my ears. That guy has got to go. Every away team anouncers that broadcast and then hear that crack up and make a remark. He is a disgrace to the franshise almost as much as Othella/Primoz

We had a good win tonight and I was reading a article about the game and the author slams the PA announcer too....

It was a rare scene for an NBA game for much of the second half after the sound system went down, muting the public address announcer and the constant music and noise pumped in during play. ...

They really ought to do something about this....:g:

you shouldn't! you're like cheering for the other team! :hysterical:

I like Primoz, Id love to see him get it together and be the beast we all wish he was already; Who knows anything is possible. But if O.H. keeps out doing him (dang, was that me?) his days will be numbered unless we cant find any good draft picks and or free agent bigs for next season.... :g:
