Emeka is having a strong game so far with 15/11 & 2 blocks. Ray is also shooting well.
Not having the game on TV sucks.

They're all having really good games and if Brevin Knight was to do that I would have to hurt something :mad:

I may just be imagining things but it seems like ever since we last played the Magic and getting killed by Dwight, Oak has tried to establish more of an offensive game.

The post moves by Emeka seem to be much more advanced. Every year he adds another little weapon. Last year it was the little hook in front of the basket. This year he seem to be developing a quick spin move which complements his physical style perfectly. We saw it used well tonight and in the cavs game

We come back from a 12pt halftime deficit to win 108-103 with strong games by Crash, Mek, and Felts. Okafor had two very key FT's at the end to put us up by 6. Great game and WIN for us.

One more thing id like to add is Primoz played almost half of Hollins minutes, scored the same number of points, one less rebound, and the same number of blocks. If we are starting him to "absorb fouls" then teach him to get more than one foul a night. If I were to play that strategy (which I think is not a great idea) Id have Primo hacking the big so there is no way the ball is going in. BENCH PRIMOZ ASS AND GIVE HOLLINS A START. JUST FOR ONE GAME, VINCENT PLEASE

Isn't it wonderful how the offense flows when we stop jacking up jumpers and get the ball inside to Emeka :)

You can give your case for Ray and Crash to be the player of tonights game, but IMO player of the game for us was Emeka Okafor, 25 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assist 3 blocks, and a steal, plus some key FT at the end...I'm loving Okafor getting the ball more, now if we could only get JRich to be more consistent...but did I see right OH got 7 minutes and actually scored 4 points? Wat's up with that? wow...

Great to see a win from the Bobcats tonight. Lord knows we needed it. Even better to see that Mek, Felts and Crash had great games. Gotta love Mek getting the ball and being aggressive with it. I can't understand JRich, but while he was not hitting shots he was getting 8 rebs, 5 assts, 2 steals and a block. Stats show McInnis had a solid game. No TOs... imagine that. The Big OH getting a rebound, a block and 4 points on 50% shooting all while playing just 7 minutes... I guess the sun really does shine on a dogs hindquarters every now and again. Here's to hoping the trend continues.

Great game by Ray, Okafor and Crash. They played their butts off tonight!
I am really getting worried about J-Rich. I wonder if this isn't more mental than we thought? He cannot get over the hurdle for 2 games in a row to save his life!

Observations on a funny game out there tonite...

The team looked very loose pre-game, general happiness on the court, so we figured it might go well.

Started out with the Clippers missing everything outside. We thought it might be an easy game; the Clips just didn't look very tough. But somehow of course, we sagged and the Clippers marched back with Tim Sorry This Ain't a Contract Year Thomas hitting unguarded 3's because neither Hollins nor Okafor would go out to defend (which is probably a good thing).

In the second quarter it seemed we were fumbling everything around the basket, especially Okafor and Hollins. Hollins in particular was kind of useless other than a big body. After an injury, most players need time to get their "legs" back, but poor Ryan is looking for his hands.

Of course in the the 2nd half the game came back for us with the fumbles kind of going away and Ok50 doing much better.

Yes Othella Harrington actually mattered out there. It was a great sight to see.

But truly I think the real reason the cats did so well in the 3rd Quarter was because the PA System went out! It was like an answer to a prayer. For real. For almost the entire 3rd Quarter there was absolutely no PA noise. Nothing.

AND IT WAS WONDERFUL. AWESOME.

For the first time I felt that the crowd was actually rising and falling with the game. For a brief time we actually were a "sixth" man and not freaking drowned out. We mattered; and it was HEAVEN. Good god I wish I could keep the plug pulled on that thing.

LOL in the 3rd Primo took a shot to the nose and it started to bleed on him...Sam calls a 20 second TO...Primo comes over to the bench, the trainers putting a towel to his face and wiping Primo's shirt; while Sam has Hollins go to the scorer's table to check in. Primo yells at Sam in his Slovenian accent "Don't take me OUT!! throws the towel and runs back onto the court. Ryan's standing there at the scorers table looking at Sam with a big grin and pointing at Primo with his thumb like "What's he doing? :)" (<--yes Hollins looked just like that), but Primo stayed in a while longer; until coming out later and letting go a big "F*&CK!" out loud at the bench for no apparent reason. We loved it. If the PA had been on, we probably would have missed it all....

I've got to find that darn PA cord and take control....

I thought that sort of thing could be pretty motivating yup! But for this game anyway, it was pretty much decided and Ray had already had a good game by the time it all started. That's why I was a little disturbed about it at first.
