The way it reads its going to be on everything ESPN. Like little 2-3 minute shorts during the sports news and such, also starts with Mike & Mike in the Morning on ESPN radio.... So just check it all is all I can say.... Kinda confussing!!!!! :g:

If I had to take a guess I would say it'll be either Gerald or Emeka, but it could be any of the starting 4.

Marv Albert on TNT just mentioned during the Lakers/SA game that ESPN tomorrow night will be airing the Magic vs. the Hornets! And then the graphic on the screne even said Hornets too. I'm really getting sick of this crap.

This is a very very laudable thing ESPN is doing. I'll probably find a way to email them/contact them to let them know it is appreciated by the hardcore fans! What this shows me is that the Bobcats are actually getting.......brace yourselves......media support :o

Hopefully this mass coverage will not give anybody the opportunity to bash us as far as attendance and Charlotte apathy is concerned. This should be a purely positive thing, and if they have to spin it, then spin away.

It sort of pumps me up a little more about being at the game, than if it were a regular broadcast. Hopefully our guys will play over their heads and kick ass, or at least keep it competitive. The worst-case scenario, outside of an injury, is a drubbing by the 3rd, and then a mass exodus of fans, and the announcers dumping on the team, fans, etc. Anyway, I plan on enjoying the game!!!

Positive national visibility and relevance is vital to the team's success; and so far the Bobcats have had none. Hopefully this exposure will be a beginning. But I'm nervous about much of the attention being negative. I sure hope not.

As for ESPN; I'd love to listen in, but it'll be baseball doping all day and I don't think I can take too much of that! Unfortunately, it's going to be one those obsessed news days on ESPN and all about baseball. It'll be interesting to see how they switch to bball.

Sounds like the team is going with experience rather than youth. Wonder if some sort of trade is in the works, I read somewhere that Detroit is interested maybe in Herrmann. It was on one of the many trade rumors pages that are posted around the internet..... :g:
