He is right, sadly. Still, I do enjoy being able to sit almost wherever I want to.

The jersey thing is very true. I seriously see more kids at my school wear Rodney Peete jerseys then any kind of Bobcat jersey.

It will change. Once we start winning, it will change.

I don't think this guy is from NC. He's definitely not from Charlotte. I see folks wearing bobcats shirts and hats up here at State, but it is certainly not in the majority of sports clothing.

Though, it's just so frustrating to be a fan of a team, a young franchise. To try to support it and enjoy it to its fullest, yet because you live outside of the city, you can't be at every or even most games. Still you're a dyed in the wool fan. Yet, some ass clown feels the need to come a long and publish some article for the masses to read that essentially says "If you support the Bobcats, stop. There's no point because you're the only one who ever will. If you were thinking about going to a Bobcats game for the first time and taking your family, don't go, because it's like a strip club. If you were thinking about going to a Bobcats game with some friends, don't bother, because you'll be the only one in the arena that's not playing basketball."

If it weren't for BCP, and me not knowing better, I'd swear that the Bobcats don't exist because I never cease to hear blogjockeys talk about how they don't exist and don't matter.

Okay, done venting now. Let's beat the Magic's ass on national TV.

I agree with a lot of what you say. Mostly about the ill effects of these random bloggers essentially making fun at us Bobcats fans, as if we were the pariahs. Singling us out like that does absolutely NO good. Why doesn't he mention the Hornets, a really good, playoff caliber team that is met with more apathy than our struggling Bobcats? Likewise the Pacers. Likewise the Sixers. I don't get it ??? That's what pisses me off most about these tools who post these irrelevant, unnecessary, vacuous posts. Seriously, if this idiot were a student of mine, that "article" recieves a D. A poorly formed argument that says nothing unique, and merely takes up space. They really should not allow these potboiler blogs because it does nothing but further alienate potential Bobcats fans from the Bocats, like Mutt implies.

The bigger the game, the more fans will come. Coming into the game we'd won 1 of 7, and we were playing the (yawn) Clippers: not exactly an enticing game for any casual sports fan in the Charlotte area, so this guy has some nerve to pick the most lackluster game of the season to ridicule the attendance.

Anyway, onward and upward, and I'm ready for the game tomorrow night...just hope traffic on 85 lets me get there before tip for a change

I really dont like that article........I have on Bobcats stuff all the time.......and the Clippers game attendence wasn't bad!! I was there.......we WON!!! WE WON~!!!!!!He is critcizing a game that we won!!!!! Who cares if some fat guys are yelling at cheerleaders.....thats at every arena for every game in the NBA.......If he wants to criticize a NBA teams attendence, criticize the Hawks.
Also just because our game attendence isnt good doesnt mean that the Bobcats dont have fans.......we probably have more fans outsiide of NC than we do here in NC. When I won a trip to the Chicago game at the end of last season, I couldnt belive how many cats fans ere there. I talked to some Cats fans at the hotel I was staying at(Ritz Carlton--Same as the Bobcats) and they were hanging around trying to get Okafor/ Herrmann and Felton autographs. Anyway........we have plenty of fans and our attendence will get better as the 07-08 season rolls on.

GO BOBCATS!!!!!!!!! GET BETTER SOON ADAM!!!!!! and sean.....LOL

PS: Anybody know how i can email the guy who wrote that article??
