Wow, the game is less than 2 hours away lets get this game thread started :biggrin:

Its been Bobcat-a-palooza on ESPN today, lets follow all of that attention up with a strong performance tonight.

Also for anyone thats interested, feel free to jump in and start a game thread whenever its close to gametime and you don't see one out there. Captain does a great job with the threads :rock:, but sometimes things come up and he can't get one started by gametime.

They lost there last 3 we won our last 2 of 3 you know they are going to be wanting a win bad tonight and for us to stop that Emeka has to stay out of foul trouble it's as simple as that. I say that because he's the ONLY player on our squad that has a legit chance to stop Howard from going off on another 30+ night.

Other than OK50 you know J-rich, Crash and Felts need to do there part and other than those starters I hope to see a lot of Fabio off the bench but I wont get my hopes up.

Big news. Nazr Mohammed and someone else are coming to Charlotte for Primoz and Herrmann. I will be sorry to see Herrmann go, but Nazr will be a good addition. They are sending Davidson to the D-league, too.

I've noticed that too but damn, outscored 30-13 in the 3rd. Go from 13 up to 8 down. No team is gonna win many games blowing leads like that, and maybe this is just me but does Hubie Brown not annoy the hell out of you?

Damn this game was frustrating, but I can't be totally pissed. I hope the team watches tape of this game, in this order: (1st) The Second Half, (2nd) The First Half. I predict a lot of light-bulb-over-the-head moments. Gotta give props to the Big Oh and Jeff in the first half. Not to mention DA. All three did well (in the first half). Hate more that we got proverbially T-bagged by Howard once we started the Hack-A-Dwight. Can't believe he made all of those shots. Damn. Can't do nothing, but turn around and cruise through the ATL with a win tomorrow.

Yeah, no clue. The atmosphere was there tonight. The fans wanted to get into the game, and were especially at the close of the 1st half, but the guys just faded in the 2nd. Yes, they were short two men because of the trade. Yes, Dwight is the new Shaq and nobody can stop him for the forseeable future. Yes, they did a good job bottling up GW and forcing him to take jumpers, which were off tonight. The fact of the matter is that Orlando is just that much better than us, both in personnel and coaching.

Overall, this was one of the more fun games I've been to this season what with being greeted by some LadyCats upon entrance, May and Morrison walking next to us along the concourse, enthusiastic crowd, and the toned-down PA dude with only 2 or 3 "LET'S GO CATS. LET'S GO CATS" chants during the entire game. The team on the court has a ways to go yet, obviously, and while this year may not be what I/we were expecting, this team will take off in Charlotte eventually; I saw it tonight.

Yeah they will. As bad as the 2nd half was, we played GREAT in the 1st half...esp. in the 2nd quarter. The ball movement was superb (had Hubie just gushing over it) and Felton looked like a borderline star playing with such self confidence and control.

Our defense was fair in the 1st half, but terrible in the 2nd. They kept running the PG on a high screen causing the switch...and we were almost always a step slow in covering it. That incidentally was what we were doing too...only we didn't have Dwight underneath. Nazr will help this somewhat.
