We going for three straight tonight. We should match up well . I don't see them with a big advantage inside now thet we have Nazr.We should have a advantage at the two and the three. It should be another Bobcats win as long as we keep playing team ball.

Come on Bobcats!!!! Let's get this win tonight. Then we can stop being ridiculed because we can't handle these back to back games and always lose the second.
Then we'll have a 3 game winning streak!

Yeah, this is a major game for the team tonight; not from a record standpoint, but from the messages it would send:
1. First 3 game win streak of season
2. First win on road on a back to back.
3. Unless I'm mistaken our 2nd road win of the entire season.
I have no clue what to expect, but I hope we'll be competitive and give ourselves a chance to win.

Preview: The Charlotte Bobcats (10-14) are winners of two straight as they travel to face off against the Milwaukee Bucks (10-15). Both have pretty close records as you can see, it would love to get a game closer to .500. The Charlotte Bobcats are undefeated since MJ practiced with them and Nazr Muhammad began to start, but now they are on the road against a pretty good home team. The Milwaukee Bucks, led by Michael Redd are losers of two straight games, and are struggling to stay in playoff contention as well as the Charlotte Bobcats, a win for this could really help each team, it would allow Charlotte to continue to gain ground on the number 8 spot as well as keep their confidence up, while for Milwaukee it give them a win, and snap their two game losing streak. Can the Charlotte Bobcats and the new powered-up line-up continue their success, or will the Milwaukee Bucks continue Charlotte’s luck on the 2nd game of back-to-back games? We’ll find out tonight live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!

Yea I noticed that too I love the Panthers but I'm watching Bobcats live and recording the Cowboys/Panthers game.
Hopefully we'll see the same hard playing that we have witnessed the last two games again tonight. Last time we played them we did a damn good job of containing Redd if we do the same tonight we win.

I gonna watch one game on tv and the other one online if I can get the game online from the above link. But if I had to choose one it would be the Bobcats game for sure because the NFL is already settled this season just about and the Cats have a long ways to go till the end of the season and need our support more than the Panthers that arent going no where except home after next weekends game against Tampa Bay.. :g:

Bobcats take winding road to Milwaukee (http://blogs.jsonline.com/bucks/archive/2007/12/22/bobcats-take-winding-road-to-milwaukee.aspx)

It has been a long travel day for the Charlotte Bobcats, who are still on the road to Milwaukee.
The Bobcats were forced to land at Chicago's Midway Airport around 4:30 p.m., where they boarded a bus for the trip to Milwaukee. Tip-off against the Bucks at the Bradley Center is still scheduled for 7:30 p.m., although there could be a delay, depending on the Bobcats' arrival time.
Charlotte played at home against the New York Knicks on Friday and was not able to leave after the game due to weather conditions. Today, the team left Charlotte on a charter flight around 9:30 a.m. and was hoping to land in Madison.
But the Madison airport was closed due to heavy fog, the same conditions that made it impossible for the Bobcats to land at Mitchell International Airport. Charlotte's charter plane did land in Minneapolis and refueled, according to a Charlotte Observer report.
Finally, the plane was able to land at Midway.
The Bucks and Bobcats played in the second game of the season, with Charlotte taking a 102-99 victory behind 26 points from guard Raymond Felton. The Bucks lead the all-time series, 9-3.

Bucks beating us 35-26...defense hasn't been good at all. Our turnovers were barely poor, definitely McInnis, whose ball went out of bounds even though no one was near him...We need to stop giving them open shots and get scoring...

12-22-2007, 11:04 PM
Damn, we had a nice comeback attempt there in the 4th. J-Rich had a really nice game but I just have 1 question. Why did all 4 of our other starters have more FG attempts then Gerald?
ALong13
12-22-2007, 11:07 PM
Because he was too busy passing the ball away...7 assist..
turnovers killed us...Nazr's worst turnover night for us..6 of them...Felton added 4 more...my stream was messing up during McInnis injury...what happened there, did it look bad?

We lost because we did not play Defense at all tonight. I am very disappointed. We have to win games against sub .500 teams. If we do not, we are doomed to be a sub .500 team ourselves.
I was pleased with J-Rich tonight, and again with Nazr, another double double. The turnovers hurt some, but that did not decide the game. What lost the game was leaving men wide open for uncontested jumpers. Just lack of focus!! Also, when we did get close, we started chucking the damn ball rather than work the ball in for a close shot. Gerald and Carroll were getting me so damn angry by just failing to work for a better shot. So aggravating!

Yes, I have to say, Yi is going to be a solid Pro. I had my doubts about him prior to the Draft, but I think he is going to be solid. When you are that big and can handle yourself around the post, and also can step out for the jumper, he will be tough to guard.

damn. I was at the panthers game tonight, and was really hoping for some good news when I got home. It seems that our offense was fine, but it was our defense that was lacking. My BCP fantasy team has both JRich and Yi on it(used to have MO too!), but I'll be damned if I wouldn't trade a win any day of the week for whatever "fantasy" crap I get from tonight's game.
I blame the travel.
I even said that tonight would be the true test for Nazr. The dude had 14 pts, 11 reb though! Crash had 7 assists! JRich had 30 frickin' points! This was a matter of tiredness affecting our defense. Let's pick up the "streak" where we left it of when the wiz kidz come to town on Wednesday. Merry Christmas, Happy Channukah, and Happy Kwanza, but more importantly, Happy "let's beat the Gandolfs day" on the 26th.
They guys were tired, that's why the defensive effort was lackluster. I think we're gonna win all three of our home games coming up.

Not only win our 3 at home but a big long win streak would be good.
The Wiz, Hornets and Pacers all over .500 with 1 away game between the 2nd and 3rd home game at Orlando another over .500. Its going to be a long road to hoe but it is doable if we have no bus rides due to fog.... :g:

Guys, I know that the back end of a back to back is tough, but we cannot use that as an excuse. Everyone has those back to backs, and the good teams suck it up, stay focused, and win. This was against a team with a 1/2 game worse record than us. I cannot use that excuse. We must be more focused, and we cannot lose these type games. We now have a tough few games coming up, and even though we are at home for some, we will not likely be favored by much if at all.

i saw the game. all you need to know:
The Bucks shot lights out. our D was up and down, but regardless - they shot well.
we did not have the utah (4th) and NY fire. played well in the final minutes, but we had ben playing from behind most of the night.
after the previous two efforts, it was frustrating to watch. Way too many turnovers at bad times - fast breaks, clutch moments when we needed baskets. i'm starting to think TOs are our single biggest problem.
