Is coach V stupid or is it just me

Coach V is saying Mcinnis played real well in the loss to the Magic.
Damn he couldn't even think of keeping who ever he was guarding out of the lane and scoring on us.How in the hell can you say he did a good job going one for six with just three assist.And scoring just three points in over 30 mins of play. Hell Felton had six assist playing mostly the two spot. Me or Coach V one is stupid as hell because i thought he stunk the whole damn arena up.

Clearly its you Dav7z. McInnis is an NBA starting point guard which makes him an elite-type person. I'd like to see you dribble up court against Keyon Dooling or .. or Roger Mason!!

Likewise; McInnis must have black and white glossies of Vincent doing unmentionable things, so clearly he's earned great influence...something Felton still needs to learn to do.

I don't mind DA at all. At least he's been somewhat productive lately and I don't cringe when he has the ball in his hands like I do when McInnis gets it. He's the kind of veteran leadership that I'd prefer coach use instead of Jeff.

Totally with you on the Dude thing though. Where's he been? Did he hurt Sammy's feelings or something? Are we required by contract to under-use at least one player on our roster or something, and he volunteered for the "Herrmann Spot?" If Sammy wants to go smaller, why not play him at PF and still have Nazr come off the bench. I realize that that would not solve Sam's PG problem (not sure who else's problem it would really be), but it would make me feel a lot better about the way things are going with the team because you can tell the Dude tries hard every second he's out on the floor.

its not just the practice before games. Its his lack of quality substitutions. you leave the same 6 players in the whole game rotating them at the worst possible time. Its just bad. his rotation blows.

M.J relly messed up on this move. Vincent don't know his ass from a hole in the ground. He has no clue at all how to run a team. Somthing MUST be done quickly or we lose what little support the team has now.
M.J. has given this dumbass ever thing hes asked for and he keeps coming up with excuses. EVER average fan can tell hes no where close to being a head basketball coach. So M.J. Bernie and Johnson has to know this by now .So we might see a coaching change befor the all star break.
This coach has two players averaging over 20 per the last 10 games and can't smell a win . He has to be the problem to have that much talent and can't win.
Okafor must hate him because his numbers is going to the tolit . A player we was thinking was in line to get a max contract. Watch Felton hes playing like he can't do a damn thing right. Hes not thinking about wining hes just trying to please a dumb ass coach instead of just playing the game. This coach is so stupid he has NO good set screan plays for one of the best pure shooters in the NBA.[any one notice Matt don't get open looks any more. Does any one notice we only run one offencive set most of the time. The weave ,where in the hell is the pick and roll.I would love to see that at least once with Rich and Wallace. Or a triangle with OK , Wallace, Rich, Or have Felton drive but don't just have the other four just stand and watch have them moving to the open spot [ never happens]
Does ths coach love east ,west ball because thats all Mcinnis does til the shot clock runs out then he passes to the wing forcing a long three with a clock on that players back. Notice that shit happens to Felton a lot and now its starting to happen to Wallace.
What in the hell happened to the run and gun team he said we should have. He stated we had two of the FASTEST best wings in the NBA .
And had one of the fastest points in the league . Now this coach is saying he shouldn;t even be a point but a combo. I just can't understand what the hell is going on.
To top off all this stupity this coach STARTS a player who is ranked in power rankings lower than 400 . That means its 399 players in the NBA who is better than than that player. But still that coach starts him . Some one please explain this stupity to me i can't understand it and im starting to get flustrated as hell with the whole Bobcat team . I don't mind losing . But all this stupid shit is starting to get under my skin.
Damn i need some encuragement from somewhere.

Dav7z, that's a good point about us having 2 players averaging over 20pts a game and Coach V still can't coach us to a win. He throws players under the bus(Ray), and can't motivate players(Okafor). Plain and simple, Coach V is stupid and doesn't have what it takes to be a head coach in the NBA.(not right now anyway.)

I would'nt call coach V stupid, but as someone else has said, I think he's in over his head, he should'nt be a head coach of an NBA team yet.

That being said, I think it's time to put him out of his misery. Trading Mek and Felts is not going to make the team better under Coach Vincent.

It's obvious he does'nt know what the hell he is doing.

i kinda wanna give the guy a chance. MGMT picked him for a reason. MGMT could also be wrong.

I thought there was no way he would be fired... but after the beginning of the season with the dispute with Mek. and the general feeling from the media and fans that the team didnt really respect or listen to Vincent. Then throw that on with having a 12 point lead fueled by your dynamic duo... then not only losing the lead but gettin blown out by 13 more points. Not many NBA coaches have 25 point turnarounds on an average basis and keep their job. couple all that with Geralds comments about the rotation. It looks worse than ever for Sam.

I wouldnt cry if Sam was fired today. but im not gonna start a website just yet.

One item that gives me hope, MJ fired his hand picked coach in Washington after one season when he realized that Leonard Hamilton was not getting it done... Is Vincent next? We can only hope he improves as a coach or MJ sees that he is not getting it done and hires someone who commands more respect (larry brown, hell even scott skiles would make me happy now)

Too bad the NBA doesnt have a quality controll staff to do something about this situation because what we got isnt quality.... :g:

Well, looking at some of the facts:
- We upgraded the C position (Nazr)
- We upgraded at SG (J-Rich)
- We added a first round pick (Dudley)
- We shipped a promising player out of town (Hermann)
- We lost our 6th man (Morrison)
- Jeff McInnis is getting minute (he's the 12th man on the Knicks at best)
- We've played an easy schedule
- We've played most of our games at home

Based on that, we should be .500 or better because we've had a favorable schedule and a better team -- and we aren't. I think we aren't getting a lot of production out of some players (Okafor and Carroll come to mind) based on the offense plan and the rotation. That you CAN blame on the coach. And when you start reading crap about not looking at wins and players being baffled by comments, that is not a good sign.

We're a team in trouble right now and something needs to be done if we have any plan of salvaging the season.

I wouldn't call him straight up stupid but there is a reason his only head coaching gigs were with crappy foreign teams. He might be one of those Del Harris types that are great assistants and they get jobs here and there but come on, they have the deer in the headlights look.
I personally think it's lame to bash officiating, but....we don't get calls and we get some bs calls against us. He has just gotten his first tech. It looks like he's not taking up for his guys.
His comments about Crash and J-Rich are hilarious. If they're tired, put someone else in, so who does he put in? the other guys that are just as tired....and some of them are bad. Forget that if they were actually tired they wouldnt combine for 51 points, over half our total. I wonder why G-Dub is tired, could it be that he's playing the PF and is getting beat on by guys that are bigger?
I mentioned durring the game, I don't know what he got out of these guys as far as strength and conditioning in the off season. Mek looks like he's sucking wind every play so does Felton.
We're basically down 4 spots on the roster(Ammo, baby fat, Big-O and the empty spot) why would you do a short rotation every night. What does he have against giving min to Ryan, Jared or Jamario some PT. What would be wrong with that at this point?
One last thing and I'll calm down...
His stated goals are stupid at this point and he seems like one of those guys that won't change no matter what. Just win, don't worry about developing talent for the future, you can't put all your eggs in that basket especially not at 11-19.

i feel bad for Sam, seems like a good, hard working man. but he is taking our promising team (and what was the begining of some fan excitement) and dragging it through the dirt. It's hard to watch, and i agree with whoever said they're losing interest. I am too. it's just awful to watch so much potential, so many good young players get coached backwards. could anyone have imagined we would be where we are right now? it breaks my spirit every time i watch 'em. No way in hell we should have the record we do, and vincent's excuses make me furious.

i said it 1,000 times in the off-season: RICK ADELMAN. a coach with experience in taking non-elite rosters and making them play ABOVE the sum of their collective parts. he was the PERFECT coach for our team. in stead, we went witha damn experiment, and it has clearly been a bust of a move. sorry sam, but that's the truth, man.

this season is lost. not being pessimistic, just saying: this season has been completely lost. just 30 games in, but it's clearly time for a change. sad.
