Indiana Pacers at Charlotte Bobcats 12/31 - 2pm

We have a 2pm afternoon game today against the Indiana Pacers.
The Pacers are currently 15-16 and have lost their last 3 games.

The Bobcats are 10-18 and are currently burdened with the stench of a 4 game losing streak. I'd like to give you the lineups for today's game... But I'm not even sure if Coach V himself knows who hes going to trot out to the opening tip.

With that being said, we still have to find some way to get a win and get back on track.

I almost think we've got to win this game. We've got a stretch of what should be winnable games. Of course, none of them are winnable if we play the way we did against the Hornets.

The game against the Magic was the first game I ever missed while I have been keeping up with the Bobcats. The Bobcats just haven't been as fun to watch lately. Well, I'm watching today and I'm ready for a win. It makes me extremely angry that Mccinis is starting. I'd rather have Primo back and starting then Mccinis.

Anyway, Vincent is crazy, and I hate to say it, but he may be on the same level as Thomas.

There won't be one...this game isn't televised anywhere. It should be on NBA Audio League pass though, which is free this year.

I assume Indiana is going to start JON & Murphy or Foster...so does that mean Crash gets to man up against O'Neal so Mek can be "comfortable" guarding the center?

It's like we're in the twilight zone; here in Charlotte we have something I thought wasn't possible...a coach more incompetent than Bernie.

By the way, Gerald said that the bobcats better thank Sam Vincent for this win. He mentioned the Tech that Sam took for yelling at the refs when GW was called for the charge (actually it was about the third charge called in a row). Maybe his showing of support for the players will help things for the cats. In any case, lucky to get away with this one. Props to JRich and Gerald. The fans needed the win guys.

Wallace and J-Rich were awesome today, 36 and 8 and 28 and 8 respectively. Wallace was also big with 4 more assists and steal. It was a much needed victory. Okafor was avg with 10 and 10; Ray was a little under avg with only 7 pts and 6 assts; It just frustrates me that Nazr was so good for us for the time we started him, and now he gets only 18 min b/c we have to play McInnis since Ray cannot handle the full PG duties. We needed Nazr's presence inside on Defense.

Yeah, cuz Touche' did so well running the PG duties. Did you notice who Vincent played during the comeback?

Besides, Nazr not playing doesn't have anything to do with Felton or Touche'; Vincent said that Emeka can't play against the power forwards...you know, where he insisted Mek HAD to play to keep him uninjured and out of foul trouble...and feels more "comfortable" against centers.

In short, Vincent's an idiot. THAT'S why Nazr only got 18 minutes.

If Ray can't handle the point guard position better than MCINNIS why in the hell does he go to Ray in critical times. Hell Wallace had as many assist as Mcinnis and Ray had more . Naz should have started this game no questions asked.
We got lucky that starting line up sucks . If you don't belive me just look at Mcinnis numbers the last two games.
They flat out suck.
Coach has no idea of how hes damageing the team by playing favorite to Mcinnis. Look what it's doing to Carroll and Felton. Look at him playing favorite to Mcinnis did to Fabio. Though im in favor of the trade . Look at what hes doing to Naz now.
I just wish Mcinnis would turn a ankle or somthing and see how well we play with out him . I bet any of you we play better.

Spectre and Dav7z: I am not stating that I believe that McInnis is a better PG than Ray. I amn stating that the Coaches and mgmnt must believe that as they are starting McInnis at PG and Ray at the 1-2 combo Guard. That, and the Coach flat out said Ray is still incomplete as a PG and has more learning to do. Same reason that Bernie kept Brevin around the last 2 years. And, the facts bear out the faxt that Ray is just not a very good PG at this time. That part is my opinion. I think the stuff about Okafor and Nazr may just be cover for Ray as they do not want to throw too much bagaage on him as a floundering PG. McInnis belongs on the bench and Nazr belongs in the game.

i went to the game today. they really played well in the 4th after being down 8-10 points to start the 4th. j rich was ballin again, had like 18 at the end of the first QUARTER!!! it was awesome. wallace made 2 big 3s in OT, but i always hate it when he shoots his 3's. he prob makes about 35% of his open jumpers. but today, i guess it was meant for a bobcats win!!

Wonderful win today!

I can safely say that the bigges problems today were the other team playing well and the refs calls. For once, it wasn't horrendous play by our players.

One disappointment: our fans! We haven't won in several games and there's a couple of minutes left in overtime: half the crowd is reluctant to stand. Then with 22 seconds left, we're up by four and people start leaving!! I really hope they were Pacer fans, because the team didn't deserve to have people walk out before they actually got the victory!

The players fought hard tonight and I was proud of all of them. They were all over the place trying to make things happen. Wallace was a gladiator and Richardson was on fire before he got hit.
