Charlotte Bobcats at New Jersey Nets 1/4

Friday night the Bobcats will face the Nets and we'll have an epic PG matchup between Jason Kidd and ..... wait for it..... Jeff McInnis.

In addition to Jason Kidd we'll to match up with the guy all Bobcats fans love to hate Richard Jefferson and his running buddy Vince Carter.

So what do you think guys? At some point this thing has to get better, Right? Maybe Friday night will be the Bobcats night.

Alright, now the Nets starting big men are currently Josh Boone and Sean Williams. This is where you start Emeka and Narz. If Coach V starts McInnis then your we're looking at Felton guarding VC.... ??? No one wants to see that.

Vincent, do the smart thing and don't start McInnis.

Wow this really sucks ever one of you are right about Mcinnis . I wish i could rep you all up for being dead on target about this game . Remember the game that wasn't televised...Indiana game? I listend to Mugsy (the guy is hilarious btw!) and he said that Touche' is wanting to be more involved in the offense...and Mugsy said "that can't be a good thing". :hysterical:

Anyway...hope he doesn't try to take revenge out on NJ and start firing up shots. I don't want Vincent to get any reinforcement that his new BS lineups are the answer...but I want our guys to win. Hopefully we can accomplish the latter without making him believe the former.

And who knows...maybe Vincent will have an epihany and play Nazr more and Touche' less.

^Agreed it's been a couple of out of bounds on the Bobcats calls tonight that I feel should have went the other way.

Very hot and cold quarters from us in the first half but it's good that we're still up. Also J-Rich continues to beast early in games all I ask is for him to keep it up and for the others around him to step it up as well.

We had a team that won .402 of their games last year and over half when we started Herrmann. We improved the team drasticaly and yet we barely are winning more then a third of our games. Is it the player's faults? For the most part, no. Vincent ruined this team and our play-off hopes. If bernie was still here, I can assure you, we'd at least be a .550 team.

Also, if Nazr is only going to get the PT he is now, what was the whole point trading for him? I'm starting to miss my Herrmann and Primoz. Really, Nazr puts up better numbers then Mek then what happens? He gets benched for Mcinnis.

Really, you know who I want an injury to? Not Mcinnis, I want something to happen to Vincent. Mcinnis is a good enough PG for back up minutes and maybe starting 1 or 2 games if Felton gets injured. NOTHING ELSE. What more awful play does Vincent need? REALLY, I feel like I can play better then Mcinnis... and IM WHITE!

Oh wait there is... Where are the rookies at? Dudley did great starting and Davidson showed lots of promise. Maybe Vincent's so called "lack of depth" could be cured, if he half way tried to develope a rookie or 2. It's like Vincent isn't playing for now or for the future.

Long time reader, first time poster. I'm so frustrated recently that I have to have some sort of dialog with other bobcats fans.

A sobering statistic tonight: McInnis with 38 minutes played. Anyone who would play him for that long needs to be fired. A homeless hobo who knows nothing about basketball wouldn't play Jeff McInnis that much. What makes matters worse is when you read the minutes that our bench guys got. Nazr with just 14 minutes. Why are we paying him this kind of money if he is just going to sit all night. Why is Dudley getting no playing time. Why didn't Fabio get playing time?

If fire "Vincent shirts" or "bench McInnis" are made, I will buy either. The arena is already half full most nights. Is management trying to cut that in half?

you can't be serious. Felts has more assists as the starting SG, maybe he need to be our starting PG :)

I didn't check, but Mek have to have at least 20 boards, and 5 blocks.

Overall I think the team played well tonight, I almost gave Vincent some major props, but that quickly changed.

Now I'm back on the Can Him bandwagon.

JRich, a player who is playing freaking incredible recently, got just over a minute more playing time than Jeff. Felton, equal time to McInnis as well. I mean, this is just flat out incredible.

This is a guy who couldn't even get bench minutes in NJ. This is a guy who is one of the worst point guards in the league and he plays pretty much the entire game.

When Vincent started Primoz he promptly yanked him right back out of the game after 8 minutes or so. Starting Jeff is one thing, keeping him in for pretty much the whole game. Unforgivable.

With the way they've played since that terrible Boston ending, 29 games seems optimistic. I was hoping this year would at least bring us close to finishing the season at .500

Vincent says that the PGs don't feel that he is doing enough to establish position, BUT in my opinion he was somehow getting way more shots every other year that hes been in the NBA.

Guys, I'm sorry. But I just cannot blame all this on the Coach. That is just too convenient for us, so we should stop this now. Yes, he's screwing up some, but he's not the one out there playing NO DEFENSE!! He's not the one missing easy shots!!! That is the players!

More than the Coach, I blame the players and I blame management for putting together a group of guys they though could play but who cannot play worth a damn! They suck at talent evaluation! I love Crash and J-Rich on this team, and I think Nazr and Carroll can be productive off the bench. I'm sorry, but to hell with the rest of them. I know many of you love Okafor and Felton, but honestly, quit protecting them just cause they play for us and we want them to be good. They are disappointing as hell and it's time for everyone to admit it. Please, let's just call them the avg players they are and realize we need better.

I'm finally to the point that I would individually trade Okafor and Felton to two different teams and acquire draft picks. There are always suckers out there and there will be some teams who give us their 1st round picks b/c they will believe that somehow THEY can bring the talent out in them that we could not. The coaches have egos, and make those mistakes all the time, Build around the 4 players we want to keep. Don't keep the garbage around b/c it's starting to STINK!!!!
