Michael Thompson passed along some information to me about upcoming Charlotte Bobcats viewing parties (I just found out about these  ). This would be a great chance to meet and hang out with some other BobcatsPlanet folk and to watch some of the TV games with other Bobcats fans.
At last week's viewing party they had:
Rufus, Lady Cats, drink specials, prize giveaways, enter to win contests (autographed Raymond jersey last week).

It sounds like fun, If you're going to attend one of these, be sure to add your name to the thread.

That sounds like it would be alot of fun to do, Id have to make arrangements to do that for a night so Id more than likely go to one in March (when we are hopefully wondering which playoff spot we will end up with because we keep playing like we are now and playoffs look very realistic to me) I would also need directions, LOL, since I live near the NC zoo..... :g:

This does sound like fun. I'm definitely gonna try to make it to a weekend get together later this season.

Hmmm. Living just south of Winston Salem, it would be more practical to have a "viewing party" live inside the arena, as opposed to driving that far to watch it on the telly.

That said, hopefully you Charlotteans will make this a regular occurance, and with the word of mouth, we can work on the fanbase.

I believe these viewing parties are for road games.

 What was it that gave it away? Was it the list beginning "Bobcats @"? Ooops. Okay, my bad. Nevertheless, that 90 minute drive is only worth coming to see the Cats in the Arena; road games look good on the telly in my cozy home.
