The Grizzlies are one of the 3 teams that we've never beaten. The Grizz may be without Rudy Gay tonight, Pau Gasol has been getting booed in his own building...
Theres no reason that this shouldn't be a Bobcats win.

I'm predicting 25+ from J-Rich and Crash and a 15 point Bobcats win.

I'm going to make the lengthy drive (through snow perhaps?) to catch this one tonight. Memphis put on a hefty whipping on the Sonics last night (124-100) so I'm not sure this one is as cut and dry as you think it is Ziggy, however, I'll be there cheering my butt off, jumping out of my sit for every nasty dunk that GW might throw down.

If we can attack and score we can win. That is the key to Memphis. They play zero D and rack up the score. We have to keep pace with their offense while slowing their game down.

Go Cats! Let's beat these guys for the first time!

We need to win this game. Last night's debacle needs to be erased from memory. C'mon Bobcats, get back on track!

We should be able to win this one in our house or at least I hope so, I figured we would have done alot better last night but it didnt work out that way, thats the breaks..... :g:

After getting blown out last night our players SHOULD be ready to come out tonight and kick some ass. I agree with CMc$ our players have to get to the rim and rack up points in the paint and not get in the mode of old with relying on shooting jump shots all night long. Crash and J-Swish should have huge games tonight I don't doubt that for a minute but guys like Felton, Okafor and Mohammed obviously need to step up also.

It's all about the matchups. Our bigs have to stop Gasol, and we have not shown much ability to stop big Centers, and Ray has to step up against the Rookie Conley. If Conley schools him, I'd feel like puking. With UNC going down, I am not sure the "juju" is on our side with our Carolina alum. J-Rich has to match up with Miller and out score him, and we have to hope Gay is off tonight. If he is out, we have a good chance to win. If Gay plays, I am not sure I like the way we match up.

Those Nascar uniforms are an abomination.

Thats cool, NASCAR is a abomination to racing any more. I used to love NASCAR but they have ruined it as to what it used to be.....

Go Bobcats!!!!!!!

Hate the uniforms...not doing too bad so far up 28-22

EDIT: Who was Okafor throwing too? He had a beautiful block then threw it almost into the stands...

Thankfully Crash and J-Rich are scoring, otherwise we'd hardly have any points!

Along; I dont know what Mek thought he saw way up court but it wasnt a teammate....

Melanie; Thats true about the scoring, we got a little messy there at the end of the half but I think we will pull it out.....

Go Bobcats!

Yeah, I'm pretty confident they win this game. Plus it doesn't seem like Memphis is going to make them work real hard for it.

It took too much out of Memphis last night winning their game, they look like a sail boat waiting for the wind to blow.....

80-67 end of 3rd JSwish on fire. GW on fire, Mek and Felts both playing well. Great game so far, looks as if we are going to get our first win against them finally....... :g:

EDIT: Maybe I spoke too soon?? 80-72 4th Quarter

EDIT #2: Nevermind we win 105-87

Great game guys.....

Go Bobcats!!!!!!

Great game from Crash and J-Rich; Ray and Okafor did alright. It was a win vs an undermanned not so good team. This is one we should have won, and did win.

 Sweet, beat em by 18! We're back to winning!

Up next.... San Antonio on Monday.

I was really hoping they were going to let JRich get the last shot, just so he could hit the 40 point mark, but who cares, we got a good, and pretty sizeable win, should help our confidence again...

Wallace and Richardson played great. Felton and Okafor had pretty decent games. Just glad we got the win. Now, time to focus on the tough game we have against SA on Monday.

Our big four of Felton Wallace JRich and Okafor can take this team far. Add May next year and we're even better. Nice game Cats.

And Sam...please start Nazr instead of Jeff. Get Mohammed involved early. Thanks, man.

The game was pretty great. Lots of sweet dunks and a JRich fest. You could only buy those racing jerseys with his number, so it was fitting that he tore up the court with it on.

It's great to finally beat Memphis and erase that incredible, very odd statistic off the books (one of the last 3 teams never to beat).

On a side note, I think we need (for fun) to have our "Touche plays of the game". I have to say that mine was a fast break in which a pass to Gerald would have resulted in a monster dunk (2 on 1), but instead Touche took a running jumper, missed, got his own rebound and then completely airballed.

Really good predictions from most of y'all (especially Zig with his 25+ for Gerald and JRich!!)

Also, kudos to anybody who braved the elements tonight to go to the game. I saw the listed attendance on the boxscore and was very pleased with the nearly 16K. I thought tonight could be an 11 or 12 night what with the weather and low-profile opponent.

Now, what makes this win so nice is that this is the kind of win a playoff team gets: They are coming off a stinker the night before, playing a bad (in terms of record), beatable team, and they soundly give them a TKO!! Absolutely beautiful!! Like I said last night, this win washes away the debacle last night down into some culvert off of 85. What Hornets game? The cool thing is that we now have a better win percentage now than we did after the Orlando win on Wednesday!

Also, great to see GW and JRich bounce back, and have massive games after the lethargic performance the night before. The numbers are just RIDICULOUS :o
JR: 38 pts, 14 rebs, 3 blks; GW: 28 pts, 7 rebs, 6 asts, 7(!?!?!?!??!) yes, 7 steals. WOW!!!

Would love to see this game on tape, but, oh well....

Let's keep it rollin', fellas!!!

Sounds like a great game and an excellent response to last night. I was able to follow along while at the NCState-Miami game (excellent game, by the way).

Good to see that we came out to play tonight. Let's roll on... San Antonio's next!

his very elaborate warm ups. He works with the conditioning coach for about 90 minutes before each game lifting, stretching and getting loose
